Question for tonights podcast for TNA
Ahead of tonights show, it would be good to get some opinions and views that we will read out.
"As Bound for Glory is not really a TNA show (in the cannon of the main
storylines) and that TNA is likely to run out of new material before the
end of the year (apparently most of December will be highlight shows),
assuming that TNA move network (and get money behind them to promote the
show), would you completely reset the storylines for the new network?"
In other words, would you keep a few things but largely start fresh feuds
and pretend the last few months hadn't happened?
As a bit of background to this, apparently Jeff Jarrett organised the
wrestle 1 link up just before he left. Allegedly, Wrestle 1 is paying for
Bound For Glory this year which is why they have so much say and why TNA
have not got most of their stars over there.
In other words, Dixie sold BFG to the Japanese to keep the company going!
Should they have done that to their "wrestlemania"?

Re: Question for tonights podcast for TNA
To answer your last question first. I don't think we know how big trouble TNA is in. If the company is looking at a future without a TV deal where it is very possible that it may fold then I would say that selling your "Wrestlemania" is not a good idea for the long term of the business, but if there is no long term business without doing that then maybe you have to take your jewels to the pawn broker.
IMO TNA's branding is all over the place as they throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks. For me, if / when they change network I would want to keep some of the TNA brand so that my viewers travel with me. But honestly it seems to change so frequently and lurch so awkwardly that I don't really know if it matters.
