A much better RAW than the last 2 - no ridiculous filler and the segments all meant something. Although it might just seem better after last week benoited everything.

Decent episode of RAW but the underlying issues are there for all to see and no signs of them changing;

Ziggler and Orton match of the night & fantastic ending to it. Orton is gold in my book, odd thing to say but deserves more than his 12 World Title's...more in terms of huge storylines in past 4 years or so.

Paige and AJ are credit to diva division; just wish WWE would try and push more actual wrestlers than the whole diva crap we have force fed. Keep it for Smackdown...or do away with it all together as a part of the 'Wrestling' and just have the Total Divas as a weekly soap on the WWE network.

The only thing about this weeks RAW was the fact that they had to rush two matches in purely because the last few weeks have been stale, not to mention poor on quality. Let's not kid that Cena v Ambrose was going to play out like that all along...that was match was rushed and shoved in (no flow, no real action or storytelling bar the 'oh i used my head' nonsense at the end. Whole thing felt like it had been a throw away to entice viewers to stay tuned. We also had Show vs Rusev which had a DQ ending (how many more of those can they push onto us)...essentially throwing away another match which would have been decent at hell in a cell.

So now at Hell In A Cell We have:

Ambrose vs Rollins (We know there will be a dirty finish for a Rollins win..well very likely anyway)

Cena vs Orton (match number 2,187,964)...

Rusev vs Show (seen it twice..neither with a clean ending...so more of the same but just clean Rusev win...perhaps another Henry turn)

Usos vs Weirdo's - Always do put on a good match but how many more times can they keep using it

Brie vs Nikki - Loser is personal assistant to winner (apparently) though latest suggests the pin last night is the ending..if so wow what an anti-climax to a terrible feud anyway

Ziggler vs Cesaro - Intercontinental

Sheamus vs Miz - US Title

Both of those have the scope to be decent matches but again we've seen it all before, which wouldn't be a problem if they had some story behind the feud but they don't just chuck them in with one another week on week it seems...be it tag match or single match with interference/distraction.

It seems that the writers these day's don't know how to do a feud without the two stars actually facing one another or doing a cheap run in/interference on the way to the 'ppv match'.

Lazy, unimaginative and just all round flat to be honest...I mean the whole gentleman's bet crud last night was just lame.

Pretty spot on there!

The gentlemans bet thing really bothered me too! They made out it was a huge thing when it was insignificant. I know it was a play on Trading places but the pay off was so poorly done. It annoyed me.

I am guessing the point was that they are playing with wrestlers lives over insignificant amounts. But it just didn't come over like that.

It would have had more impact if they had thrown in a sexual favour bet. That would have shown that the wrestlers are just play things for Steph and Hunters kicks.

Sandow is the best thing on WWE at the moment. And he doesn't even wrestle. I see they are building up a jealousy angle eventually for Miz to turn on him. Sandow will win the belt at the Rumble from Miz is my guess.

I still blame the network. It means that individual PPV revenue is no longer the main focus, so why spend so much energy and time building to sell HIAC.

What sells the network if not PPVs?

1) Value package. So "you get all this, WM, HIAC, etc. for 9.99". It's a lower effort sell than pushing a single PPV for 50.
2) Total Divas. You get a subscription for this it's of equal value to someone subscribing for a PPV.

Also back catalogue. I think all these routes to 9.99 lessen the push you would give when PPV is the revenue stream.

Don't worry you aint the only warped minded one, I assumed HHH was telling Stephanie "You're going down or I am"
