Rubio Over Limit? Empty Rubio Over Limit?

Rubio has tipped the scales at nearly 162lbs for his fight against GGG (who came in at 159lbs).

Why would you do that on a world title fight?

Scared of the power so trying to come I'm about 20lbs heavier?

Very strange.

When I read the headline I thought he'd been done for drink driving. To be fair, I'd be drinking heavily if I was fighting golovkin.

It is strange, you could read a few things Into it... Given he made weight ok last time out.

Got fined $100k of his 400k purse. Stripped of his 'interim' WBC strap.

Expensive day for just under 2lbs.

Golovkin will now earn 900k for this fight. Must say, the guy's made a nice little living from this boxing thing. Probably made 4-5 million last 20 months caving people's head in for no damage. Nice work if you happen to be a heavy fisted banger.,

I'd imagine he would take on Cotto next probably May next year. May have another fight prior depending how tonight goes.
