Injuries - Whose missing/doubtful
With the KO of the 6 Nations under month away now thought I would see who is missing or doubtful from our respective teams, please add as it goes along etc:
WALES:
Props and Hookers seem to be taking bit of a hit for us with 4 of the Scarlets doubtful, 3 of them Owens, Phillips and prop Rh Jones all more than likely to at least miss the start then Samson Lee is being 'monitored'. Liam Williams took a knock last night as well, whilst not sure on Ospreys No8 Dan Baker.
Read Ben Morgan suspected broken leg for England last night.

England are missing Launchbury, Tuilagi and probably Dan Cole. As you say, it doesn't look good for Ben Morgan right now either.

Who comes in for those player Beds? Do you think there's a chance Gats will go for Phil Price as 3rd LH? And maybe Elliot Dee. Adam Jones will certainly be involved, then probably somebody like Jarvis. I think Amos and Prydie will also come in, not sure which will take the place of Liam Williams if he remains injured.

England will probably go with Wilson, Atttwood/Kruis, Billy V and Burrell. Not much different to the AIs and 6N last year.
If BM is out though, the bench spot will be an interesting choice.

Re: Injuries - Whose missing/doubtful
Is Tuilagi confirmed out then? I thought he was like Cole, doubtful?
Really didn't like the look of Morgan's injury TBH, I suspect his season may well be over. Vunipola will replace him (is getting in decent form), and I suspect Haskell/Clark for the bench? Billy V. seems to have the fitness for the full 80 now, so we don't need specialist 8 cover there.
Attwood is the man in posession at lock, expect him to keep his place. Kruis could be in trouble for his tip-tackle yesterday, any news on a potentail citing? (though don't expect any ban to be longer than a week or two so shouldn't jeopardise his 6N). Tigers fans seem keen on Kitchener, could he sneak onto the bench?
Wilson will start at TH, had an excellent AI, and expect him to carry on being just fine.
Centres is anyone's guess at the moment. 12T had a bit of a shocker last night (kicked one dead, gave away a stupid penalty from which Sarries drove over, butchered an easy try, and had several kicks charged down, just for starters). Any news on Eastmond? Barritt and Burrell probably look favourites to start at the moment, especially if England go with Ford at FH as expected.

Re: Injuries - Whose missing/doubtful
Clark would be my admittedly biased choice, he is on fire at the moment for the bench spot if Morgan is out.
Saints went with Dickenson and Clark as locks today, looks like it backfired as their set piece was dominated by Sale, no Day, Lawes, Manoa. A back 5 of backrow forwards. No wonder they were lightweight in the set piece.
It does show Clark's versatility though, can cover the whole back 5, a useful thing on occasions.
Also saw that Watson kicked a conversion today, that is a string I didn't know he had to his bow.

Saint,
I hope Dee is involved and would think A Jones will come back in, not sure about Price. I think Amos will be involved anyway or in squad at least but if Williams was out then it makes Gats' decision easy as he can pick usual trio.

Launch and Many will be big losses but is Cole guaranteed these days as Wilson has had some great games

Re: Injuries - Whose missing/doubtful
Wilson not been great since the AI and Cole was storming on his return...but would have started Wilson with ?Cole on the bench (if he had been up to it, match fitness wise. I'd actually have been tempted to leave Cole out of the match squads, just to bring on Brookes/Thomas a bit more.

Another for England, Anthony Watson limped off during the Bath vs. Wasps match. Don't know how serious it is though. Same with Wade (although he isn't really involved at the moment).

Ben Morgan out for the rest of the season possible puts him out of the RWC as well as the six Nations

Watson is not supposed to be serious, Ford said he could have stayed on if necessary.

Re: Injuries - Whose missing/doubtful
England -
Outs - Tuilagi, Morgan, Launchbury, Cole,
Hartley.....we dont know about.
is Lawes injured?
Corbisiero isnt playing much!
Is Burrell injured? Did he play in the Sale game on weekend?
Slater was on the radar but injured.
On the plus side - May, Yarde, Care, Nowell, Brown, Foden, Haskell, Robshaw and Goode are showing some great form in club games.

Lawes is OK as far as I am aware
Corbs is starting back, played his firsts starting game on Saturday behind a very lightweight pack made up entirely of backrowers.
Burrell played Saturday, no injury that I am aware of.
