Plans for 2015 ???
Anybody got any plans or ambitions for the New year..............
On a personal level I intend to get in better shape..........Been a bit of a slob over the festive period like usual.(Maybe be naughty and take something to speed up the process)................Will be heading over to Marbella in February as is the norm.....With sex machine 3 to be in-bedded in pre-school and getting bigger by the day...........Hoping to lump him off to the In-laws more so me and red can do a few more things..
Maybe another holiday and a visit home...........
That's it really..............Groundhog stuff.............

Re: Plans for 2015 ???
Go to the Derby/Forest game on Saturday.
Pass my ICND1 (hopefully) get ready for my ICND2 and pass that as well if I can afford the exam.
Get a new job cause working way isn't really viable anymore.
Get into shape again.
Pay off my credit cards.
Go to Butlins for Christmas again.
Take the missus for a weekend away somewhere (dunno where yet)

Re: Plans for 2015 ???
Hmmm...
I guess my biggest plan is to find a decent long-term job at a University somewhere from next July-September, settle down with my wife, and start thinking about having a kid. Not too fussed about where: England, France or Australia would be nice for family reasons (and language reasons), China too (though without the language for me).
Which brings me to my next big goal: brush up on my mandarin (i.e. start actually learning it seriously, rather than the odd phrase here and there).
Finally get around to learning how to drive (and get a licence). Don't want a car particularly, but still a useful skill to have. I'm not sure how reallistic this one is, though, given past experience.
If money allows, pop down to the Pyrenees for a week-end's skiing sometime in February/March. It's not the Alps, but it's closer, and there's no way we'll be able to afford a whole week's skiing this year, so a week-end in the Pyrenees strikes me as the best compromise.
Find some fun and interesting Theorems.
Fight for what's right, particularly in light of recent events. Whether that means something as small signing some petitions online, or giving money to good causes, to voting, to going to marches, etc. Remember that not everyone's as lucky as I am, but that everyone deserves a chance in/at life.
And obviously, all the family stuff. I'm lucky to have a wonderful family who all get along (Ok so they're quite scattered around the world...), so hope they all have a great year too. (yes I realise this has gotten beyond the original intent of the thread).

Get fitter.
Going swimming tonight, as I can no longer jog, due to a dodgy knee, so am plunging into swimming in a bid to keep fit.
Go on holiday - Isle of Wight.
10 year wedding anniversary this year. Need a plan!

Work in the Computer game Derby ??...........I thought my job was boring...
As regards credit cards.............Always been very lucky to have access to money without going down the route of abusing plastic...........Our mortgage is very small as we had our first house bought for us as a wedding present....and we have always gradually moved higher and higher up the ladder........as a result....But within our means...
I despair for kids these days trying to get a foothold....
Butlins again...............I like that !!
Being in shape focuses the mind.............Good idea..........

Got a 10k on Feb 1st - my mate say he'll double my sponsorship if I get under 53mins so I'm targetting that.
Then want to do London to Brighton ride in June and the Great North Run in Sep.
They're my targets for 2015.
Oh, that and get a new gf since the last one ditched me over New Years...

Re: Plans for 2015 ???
Spend more time with my family - I work away a lot
Spend more time with my wife - We have two small children so quality alone time is infrequent
Get fitter - I am fit, I play football and run the odd half marathon but never been dedicated enough to get as fit as I should be
Do more for charity - I am a chair of a fund raising organisation but last year was not as good as previous years -have lots of ideas for events just need to get them off the ground

That's why me and the last Mrs Steffan finishedTRUSSMAN66 wrote:Enjoy the single life..........While you can !!TopHat24/7 wrote:Didn't work hard enough at the relationship.
I was more concerned about going out drinking with my mates, watching sport with my brother and bothering with friends from Uni than spending time with her apparently
It was all true to be fair and she was always on my back so when we finished for good last October I was quite pleased
I have loved single life since although I do miss a bit of the old 'bob's your uncle'. That's all I miss though and apart from getting some of that (friends with benefits is the way forward...) I have no plans to start a relationship up with anyone this year

Re: Plans for 2015 ???
No real plans for this year. Probably another trip up Africa. Will see closer to the time which country isn't at that time undergoing a civil war. Hopefully Egypt, but they're currently beheading infidels, and won't let get you within a mile of the pyramids if you say something remotely controversial.
Otherwise, keep my relationship going. The last six months have been the greatest of my life, seven if that's how long we've been dating. Sometimes you're better lucky than good, running into her because I was handing in a late assignment was the greatest thing I've ever done.
From a scholar perspective, need to think about whether or not I'm willing to study part time for another year. it's hard, it's unforgiving and it cut my time at the dam fishing and getting drunk.

Hah! Death is not a good look on me. If ever historical landmarks were absolutely safe guarded it would be the pyramids. Remarkable how the locals then proceed to treat them like trash cans

Oh I do feel rather old. I'm sure I was 14 yesterday!

That's not a tattoo, it's the dried semen of his latest conquest (bloke he's currently stalking)
I love Duty dearly despite his unshakeable faith in the England football team. I ignore the politics and all that rubbish and just focus on the fact as an ardent Ukip-er, he's going to struggle to fit in at their Xmas do when he takes Theo Walcott as his date.

I shall have you know, Dave, that my latest conquest gave me his phone number voluntarily, with no social media stalking required. Which means I'm very, very proud of myself.
Obviously.
And my black hair refutes any notion of me being a skinhead, Truss.

Being away from my homeland of Cornwall in this strange land called "England" really does force one to adopt different practices.
