PBC/NBC debut Saturday
As many of you will know its the debut of Al Haymon's deal with NBC this Saturday, is it on anywhere in the UK?

Doesn't look like it but Boxnation have often picked up foreign shows quite late.
I'm guessing when they're available cheap as some money is better than none.

With the Haymon/Hearn connection could be on Sky.

I'm surprised Sky haven't got it because they like to show fighters that might be potentials for Matchroom fighters.
The winner of Thurman-Guerrero must be a target for Brook.

Hopefully for Brook it's RG, much easier fight.
Reckon Thurman will take it though, clear UD win.

Agree with this. i do like Thurman but won't get too excited just yet. RG is a decent test, should he win then Thurman Brook could be a real exciting fight.

I would be interested in seeing the method odds for Thurman v Guerrero. Thurman may get him out of there late on. Guerrero has been getting tagged a lot lately

If Thurman loses to RG then it's a fair indicator that he isn't all that and would in fact be fairly comfortable for Brook.

Re: PBC/NBC debut Saturday
I think Guerrero at 135 was a real handful with his quick hands, good power, good technique, teak toughness and durability. At 147, he looks a lot slower not his hands but his feet and get's walked down quite a bit
I thinbk he will try box thurman but in the end his inability to get out of the way of the bigger stronger puncher will be his undoing. Is he tough enough to last 12, if his chin holds up as his engine is never in question
Would like to see him try rough thurman up and get him into one of those gruelling inside fights he likes to do even if he is the inferior puncher
Think the matthysse loss took a lot out of molina he has a punchers chance but i expect broners class to see him through

Molina's tenacity could give Broner a few problems, and if he ahs the power to knock down Matthysse he can hurt Broner. But you get the feeling Broner can come through this one.

The blueprint is out on Broner. Get at him and rough him up. That simple. He is flat footed, but has good hand speed when he lets them go. MOlina should have been working on his stamina and punch output. Hopefully he goes at him from the first bell like Maidana did.

Totally correct, however, Molina isn't as big as Maidana and probably can't impose himself as much, and also probably doesnt have quite the same whack. Most importantly doesn't have the guidance of Robert Garcia on how to get into Broner like Maidana did.

Came here to say about BN picking it up...
Beaten to it!
I think this is part of their business strategy, grab these shows late in the day when they can be cheeky with the price.

Re: PBC/NBC debut Saturday
People will still claim Boxnation is a waste of money, and honestly I think most say that because of the man who started it all. But when you look at the shows from overseas they pick up, it's well worth £12 a month.

Re: PBC/NBC debut Saturday
They'd be better with nobody presenting it. As a subscriber One thing I can't stand is the way all studio "analysis" is simply bigging everything up as if it's the FOTC. On the Cano undercard there was a totally uncoordinated Chinese giant prodding his way to victory against an obese dude. Neither could throw much of a jab, very little clean landing and both gassed after four rounds.
The line was that without boxnation we wouldn't get these hidden classics, low on skill but high on entertainment.

BN is pretty rubbish for domestic fighters, but it's great for the international stuff.
