Basically means you're famous enough for twitter to bother finding out if your account is actually held by you, and not a fake.

Few poster obviously havent seen much of Monroe Jnr
He will be the slickest boxer GGG will have face in the pros so far. His style is based figthing on the back foot and he knows how to win rounds that way.
Still GGG LKO but its a different style and it will be quite nip and tuck early.

If he can't crack the The Ring Top 10 in this lame era of middleweights excuse me for not getting excited.

He won't have the power to make GGG a take a backwards step, 6 stoppages in 20 fights tell us all this, it'll be GGG marching forwards until he gets the stoppage.

Reminding me of the bum of the month fights that RJJ subjected us to.
Pointless fight, needs to start fighting in YankLand.

To be fair to Golovkin - who exactly should he have fought? Easy to say a top ten, but the top ten guys he was linked with earlier this week we're rubbished on here. He wants Cotto, but Cotto signed up with Jay Z Inc, and basically burnt every single bridge with Top Rank, and by extension, I think, HBO. Moreover, Jay Z Inc is looking at a deal with Fox Sports, so Cotto is almost complete impossible now. Quillin is tied up in a bout, and Lemieux probably won't show any real interest until he has his own belt. In any case, Delà Hoya is probably looking more towards sacrificing him to the Cinnamon God. Can't see why he should turn down a seven figure pay day, especially since he'll fight two more times this year - could still land a reasonable fish.

Not surprised by this fight, alternative options, which are credible, are just not really viable at this stage. Another point, is if Golovkin retains his belt against Monroe, it would be his 14th consecutive title defence and would tie him with Hall of Famer Carlos Monzon for second place in middleweight history.

No it wouldn't, Monzon for anyone who cares about these things is the record, Golovkin is currently on zero, you simply cannot compare a belt holder to a fully fledged undisputed world champion.

Dan Rafael can - 'If Golovkin retains his belt against Monroe it would be his 14th consecutive title defense and would tie him with Hall of Famer Carlos Monzon for second place in middleweight history. Bernard Hopkins holds the division record at 20''.
Look, I agree with you on GGG.

Dan Rafael is a clown, it's insulting to Monzon to having a belt holder being compared to him.

Dan Rafael has a serious bonk on for Golovkin. Won't have anything said against him. I love GGG but youve got to put things in perspective when you look at his stats

But he fighting someone whose use to fighting elusive. It not like Murray fighting on the backfoot, but yer he still gets stopped.
Truss will touching himself up over this.

Hey this guy's uncle willie the worm is the only person to have defeated hagler without there bring any debate about the decision. So, with more defences than monzon, and beating the guy who's uncle beat hagler. Surely this puts ggg at the top of the pile of the ATG middleweights.

Kudos to Monroe for taking the fight when others wouldn't. It keeps Golovkin busy and too relevant to ignore. Hopefully he'll land a big name after this one.

Yeah it's pretty obvious no one wants to touch Golovkin... Unfortunate that there isn't a Hopkins type who will take someone dangerous on at Middle, Cotto etc. know what will happen if they set foot in the ring with him.
