League Placings
In the case of equality at any stage of the Season, positions at that stage of the season shall be determined firstly by the number of wins achieved and then on the basis of match points differential. A Club with a larger number of wins shall be placed higher than a Club with the same number of league points but fewer wins.
If Clubs have equal league points and equal number of wins then a Club with a larger difference between match points "for" and match points "against" shall be placed higher in the Premiership League than a Club with a smaller difference between match points "for" and match points "against".
Should two Clubs have the same number of league points and the same match points difference, the Club having scored more match points "for" shall be placed higher in the Premiership League than the Club having the lesser number of match points "for".
If the above does not establish different Premiership League positions then the Club in the higher position shall be the Club that has achieved the higher aggregate match points scored by it in the same season against the other Club.
If this still does not establish the position then the Club who has won the most matches, excluding its first Premiership League match of the season, then its second Premiership League match and so on, until it can be established which the higher placed Club is.

No worries mate.
It's easier to do on here as you can fit more on than you could on 606.

ROUND 2 UPDATE/REVIEW
After a cracking round of matches in difficult, windy conditions, champions Newcastle Falcons remain top after a second consecutive bonus point win away at Sandy Park, the beaten Chiefs dropping one place to the foot of the table, with worries over their defence having conceded 8 tries in 2 matches, and questions being asked if they are going to suffer from second season syndrome.
Sale Sharks are hot on the heels of the champions rising one place to 2nd with a good home win against fancied London Irish, who drop one place to 9th despite picking up a losing bonus point at Edgely Park.
Harlequins jump three places from 6th to 3rd courtesy of their comprehensive win at The Stoop over Northampton Saints, who find themselves falling from 4th to 7th place.
Saracens jump one place into 4th as a result of a hard fought win away at The Rec, where Bath's losing bonus point sees them off the bottom and into 11th place.
Leicester Tigers fall from 2nd to 5th having lost a close game at Adams Park, where Wasps recorded their first win of the season to leapfrog London irish into 8th place.
Gloucester also recorded their first win of the new campaign with a 26-20 victory over newly promoted Worcester Warriors, to move up one place to 6th, with the Warriors losing bonus point seeing them remain in 10th.

ROUND 3 REVIEW
Champions Newcastle Falcons maintain their 100% start to the season at home to Leicester Tigers, and remain top of the pile after 3 weeks. Saracens closed the gap with a win against promoted Worcester, and leapfrog Harlequins into second courtesy of the try bonus point. Quins though will be happy to have continued their winning start to the season defeating Gloucester and denying them a losing bonus point, and they remain third. After a tough defeat on the road to Wasps, Sale Sharks slip two places to fourth, with their losing bonus point keeping them well in touch with the top placed teams.
That win for London Wasps sees them jump from 8th to 5th place and they look to be building some early season momentum after their opening day defeat, whilst Leicester slip for a second week running, down one place to 6th after their defeat at Kingston Park.
Northampton saints home draw with London Irish sees them maintain 7th spot in the table, with Gloucester falling below them into 8th after failing to get anything from their game at The Stoop. Bath leapfrog London Irish into ninth after their first win of the season against Exeter Chiefs, the Exiles draw not being enough for them to maintain their position this week. Worcesters defeat at Vicarage Road doesn't see them fall at all, but Exeter Chiefs losing bonus point at The Rec sees them level on points with the Warriors.

ROUND 4 REVIEW
After a fantastic round of rugby Newcastle Falcons remain top of the Aviva Premiership courtesy of a hard fought victory over London irish at the Madejski Stadium. The Exiles losing bonus point sees them remain in 10th place without a win in four matches since the start of the season. Harlequins draw with Worcester at Sixways catapults them into 2nd place on points difference from Sale Sharks, who secured a comfortable home win against Northampton Saints to go into 3rd. They only sit above Saracens who slipped into 4th place courtesy of points scored, with Saracens losing bonus point at Welford Road leaving the teams in 2nd-4th place all on 14 points.
London Wasps 3rd win on the trot, away to Exeter Chiefs, sees them consolidate 5th place, and Leicester Tigers, having got back to winning ways at home to Saracens, halt their recent slide to remain in 6th.
Gloucester, with the only try bonus point of the round at home to Bath move up one place into 7th, with Northampton Saints losing bonus point at Edgely Park not enough to stop them slipping down one place into 8th. Despite picking up no points at Kingsholm, Bath remain in 9th, although now level on points with London Irish in 10th. 11th place Worcester Warriors close the gap on the teams above them courtesy of a home draw against high flying Harlequins, and Exeter Chiefs remain rooted to the bottom after failing to secure even a losing bonus poitn at home to London Wasps.

Run in is going to be heavily dependent on S15 form I think. Lot's of teams with a lot of SH players, who are currently being judged either on World Cup or last seasons form. Could all change once the Super 15 has been up and running for a few weeks.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership League Table 2011/12
It is a massive factor.
More importantly for me I think is the form of my 6N players. The likes of Warbs, Heaslip, Preistland and Kearney are at the heart of my team and a good 6N sets me up well.
Ofcourse Cooper playing well is a benefit but he won't be fit immediately.
Looking forward to seeing Jano Vermaak play for the Bulls, really top 9.

I could do with Rynhardt Elstadt getting of to a flyer for the Stormers, give me a real powerhouse in the engine room when I lose Attwood back to saints when his loan spell is up.

I have more S15 players than I realised. Basically I need the Reds to do well and my backs will have a little more spark to them

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership League Table 2011/12
With three games remaining Newcastle Falcons and Saracens have secured their play off places, but neither are yet guaranteed a home tie. Gloucester need just 2 more points to be certain of a semi final, with Leicester Tigers, London Irish, Harlequins, Sale Sharks and Bath Rugby all still capable of making the final play off spot.
Northampton Saints and London Wasps can both mathematically make the top 6, although it looks unlikely, and for Saints it is not a priority as they have already secured Heineken Cup rugby for next season via the Anglo Welsh Cup.
The relegation scrap is a straight two horse race between Worcester and Exeter Chiefs, with a massive game between the two of them coming up at Sixways in Round 20.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership League Table 2011/12
Gonna be two monster games mate that is for sure.
In fairness to you, I don't think your predictions would have affected the outcome greatly. You couldn't have influenced your own game so Irish would have still not have got a TBP, and Tigers would have got a TBP regardless. For Quins to have picked up the win they needed you would have had to have given them a 14 point victory to have swung the game their way, which I think was unlikely.

That's why I never start totalling up until after I have predicted, as I can see in black and white what predos can swing things which way, so it just avoids any temptation to stitch anyone up!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership League Table 2011/12
Just found last season's league table.
Some interesting reading.
Top spot similar total points.
Irish and Sale both dropped 2 places, Quins and Tigers up two - I actually got less points this year and ended up 4th, than I did last and finished 6th.
Rest are all in within place of last year, I think.

12 – LEEDS CARNEGIE 22 1 2 19 -211 4 11*
Some interesting reading.
Top spot similar total points.
Irish and Sale both dropped 2 places, Quins and Tigers up two - I actually got less points this year and ended up 4th, than I did last and finished 6th.
Rest are all in within place of last year, I think.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership League Table 2011/12
Ah the days when I used to get into the play offs!
After the first two seasons I opted to try and just go for cups, as league was too competitive! Think I will go back in for the league next year!
