Lomachenko's Footwork
I know people rave about Rigo and rightfully so but I thought Lomachenko's footwork was sublime last night.
I think it was the 5th and 6th rounds where he looked perfect.
Did anyone else see his fight?

I can't work him out, has sublime skills but he tends to get a bit pitta patta and can be needlessly showy at times, it over does it a bit.

Re: Lomachenko's Footwork
I agree, he throws punches with zero power which appear for show only and keeps a fight going much longer than it needs to but his skill is crazy.
The powers that be are trying to make a fight with Walters, which will be tough with Walter's brutish power.

Absolutely loved his performance from start to finish, I think he could have won a lot earlier, but its great that he is taking his time and trying things out. When he felt it was time to finish the job, he did it emphatically

He is a wonderful boxer to watch but last night he really should have stepped it up sooner, he'll outbox Walter's without a problem but he'll need to sit down on his punches more or he'll invite him forward.

I think he mixes his punches up well between power and non power. Good shot selection, good accuracy, nice footwork.

The Walters fight is an interesting one, Walters hits like a mule and is a huge featherweight, might be a bit too soon, but we shall see..

The real beauty is who is the fight too soon for?

Still the after effects of his amateur career on show when he goes into the cruise control.
Was watching with a friend who has done quite a bit of boxing themselves but aren't core fans by any means. Had never heard of Loma and was blown away.

I too was impressed with Lomachenko and I have never heard of him but will be looking out for him in the future, His footwork and hand speed were superb and his finishing professional enough.
