No mischief here Guildford! Haha
Foakes is a good player, surprised he has yetto feature for Surrey? Guessing he will just play the one day games?

Re: Domestic T-20
Hi Jimbo - not counting the pre-season friendlies, Foakes is yet to feature in the first XI. He's been doing ok though in the seconds as far as I can tell from the stats (runs and catches) and is in the 14 man squad for tonight's game. Think he might come in with Wilson playing just as a batsman. In any case, Wilson will be lost to Ireland for some games later on and Foakes will surely appear then.

I can't wait to see Chris Gayle and Corey Anderson bat at Taunton, it's going to be sensational!

Think Ian Bell deserves another chance tbh. Are 160 ODIs really a long enough run?

Disaster start for Sussex. Home advantage on Sunday though against Gloustershire, hopefully a winning start at Hove.

It was maybe just that there were a couple of coincidences. A guy called CF supported Essex and he was also sparing with his use of capital letters. He tended to write "im" rather than "I'm"

Nick - I remember Rory Hamilton-Brown when he was Surrey skipper saying exactly the same thing 3 or 4 years ago.
The issue with Mills has always been his accuracy.

Re: Domestic T-20
Thing is Jordan and Anyon had the same issues before they arrived. Robinson really does do some superb coaching and gets the very best out of pace bowlers.guildfordbat wrote:NickisBHAFC wrote: ...

Just a shame Mills can only play t20 until July due to injury. Gonna miss him in the championship massivly.

Nick - I agree with you that Robinson has a golden touch with the quick bowlers. As well as Jordan and Anyon, Magoffin was another who slipped through Surrey's fingers (think he played one game).

2 wins from 3 for the Sharks. Somerset away is a very tricky game so full credit to the players!
Will Beer with another solid display and Luke Wright hitting 49.
Friday night action at Hove on Friday night, should be a good drunken evening.

Gayle scores 150 off 10 overs worth of balls and Somerset don't win somehow
Mitchell Claydon in a game of basically 250 plays 250, had figures of 2-23 off 4 overs #bowled

Good win for Hampshire tonight. Was looking way below par until Shah and Ervine got going.
Arafat, Briggs and Smith reliable as always with the ball.

Stones from young Matthew Fisher, real stones. 17 year old bowling the penultimate over against Faulkner and Buttler, picks up 2 wickets. Excellent
