MayPac Did 4.4 Million Buys in US Alone
Christ that's 440 million just from the US PPV, ticket sales did something like 74 million and there's still the UK and German PPV to be thrown in there. Literally ridiculous.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao
http://www.scrippsmedia.com/ktnv/news/Official-PPV-revenue-numbers-released-for-Mayweather-vs-Pacquiao--303470611.html

It's official. The megafight welterweight world championship unification bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas has shattered the previous record for total pay-per-view buys and now ranks as the highest-grossing pay-per-view of all time.
The "Fight of the Century" generated more than 4.4 million U.S. buys and more than $400 million in domestic pay-per-view revenue alone.
With additional revenue from the live gate at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, international television distribution, sponsorships, closed circuit and merchandise sales, the event is expected to generate in excess of $500 million in gross worldwide receipts.
The previous record was 2.48 million buys generated by the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing event in 2007 and nearly tripled the record $150 million in U.S. pay-per-view revenue generated by Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez in 2013.
The gate for the fight inside the MGM Grand Arena generated $71 million in revenue.
Additionally, Mayweather vs. Pacquiao set the record for closed circuit admissions and revenue both in Las Vegas and at establishments nationwide. The event sold nearly 46,000 closed circuit admissions at MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas alone and was available at more than 5,000 bars, restaurants and commercial establishments throughout the U.S.
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao also set social media on fire. Facebook reported 37 million unique people contributing more than 115 million interactions from the start of the event until 30 minutes after the fight.
Mayweather won the fight against Pacquiao on May 2. Based on their agreement before the fight, Mayweather and Pacquiao will split the PPV revenue 60/40. That means that Mayweather could take home more than $200 million and Pacquiao will walk away with more than $100 million for the fight.
The two boxers may need it. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against Pacquiao by fans who claimed they were deceived because Pacquiao did not report a shoulder injury before the fight.
Mayweather has also been sued by the mother of 3 of his children for defamation and his manager has been sued by Golden Boy Promotions.

That's phenomenal. Most pundits predicted a ceiling of 3.5 but this is huge.

Just a shame that Pacquiao was outclassed and made to look ordinary to the point he threw less punches than Mayweather. Which has to be a record.

I'm a Floyd fan but he has to take some blame too, for the fight being anti climatic.

I bought into the hype, I thought there would be some drama.

Only slight bit of drama is some actually think Mayweather lost, could only assume they were on the wind up or drunk.

I think some people are proper grasping at straws Alex, a lot of people were stating how close it would be and how tough Pac would make it (even if May won) it's hard for them to take now seeing how ineffective he was

If Mayweather lost..... Any spinning I'd try to do would be lost amongst the angry mob who hold the guy in contempt..
