Inigo Calderon stays. I'm happy
Another season of dissapointment in store but away games will always be enjoyable!

Cheer up Nick, season hasn't started yet, you might get a pleasant surprise, get a few decent players and you never know.NickisBHAFC wrote:Inigo Calderon stays. I'm happy

I know what you're going through I've watched some dross over the years in a Boro shirt, keep the faith.

Well, we both had high expectations for this season and they have both faded to nothing. Its fair to say both Brighton and Reading have had poor seasons. At least we finished higher.

Well I know at least a few Boro fans who will be happy you're still around. They say Brighton do the best pies in the league and the Amex stadium is a great place to visit.

Yeah 100% best pies in the league and Tbf its probably best ground to visit apart from Brentford for different reasons.
Need to visit Middlesbrough, so happy your still around, even though we never seem to beat you!

I don't take any interest in who we are linked with until I see a picture of the player holding the shirt up.

A SIGNING AT LAST!
Liam Roseinor is a good signing at this level. Can play right or left back.
2 centre backs, 2 Wingers and 2 strikers still needed. Not done by a long shot.

2 signings in 48 hours incredible.
Tomer Hemed has arrived from Almeria. The last striker we got from there wasn't bad at all and managed to get a tasty 10 million for him. The last Israil internatioal we signed is probably one of the best if not the best centre mid in the league. If this guy can be like both of those players we may have found one!
He will be a flop though I suspect.

Brighton vs Forest will be the opener for the football season 2015/16. Live on SKY on the Friday night. What a dire game to choose.

Bong bong bong bong BONG!
Not sure how good of a signing he will be but sure he will be acceptable enough for LB.
Just need a centre back partner for Dunk and that's us sorted for the defensive side of things.

Signed some random Finland keeper.
Him and Stockdale battling out for the number one position.
Means Walton will head out on loan.

Pre season ends with a 1-0 win over Sevilla.
Serious business now on Friday night against Forest.
Still think we are 4/5 players short on being genuine top half/play off chasing side.

Don't worry - I can practically guarantee he'll score against us. Probably a last-minute 2-yard tap-in, resulting in a scrappy 0-1 for you guys at the Riverside.

Fantastic start to the season with a 1-0 win against regular underachievers Nottingham Forest.
Thought we looked very sharp and the players actually looked like they wanted to put in a shift and give this fantastic football club 3 points.
3/4 players still needed, a lot to work on and a long season in store. Let's enjoy it and enjoy Fulham away next week! The best away game last season.
Final word. Outstanding from the Nottingham Forest in the well observed minutes applauds for Don Lock.

Fulham away this Saturday. Can't imagine it will top last seasons incredible game, however the same trend this season would be very delightful!

What a fantastic away day it really did have everything!
2 wins out of 2, top of the league. Lovely stuff. Not getting carried away though, millwall were in this position last season and look how that ended up.
Huddersfield away on Tuesday night. Reality check time.

Just signed some defender from Shrewsbury who seems to be pretty good.
Dunk's off. My source tells me Newcastle haven't made contact, so Fulham will be the most likely destination.

Another cracking win! Top performance and still sitting pretty in the league.
Murphy looks a really handy signing.
Ipswich away next week, think it's fair to say a point would be a cracking result, gonna be a really tough game. 33 quid paid for the ticket wasn't enjoyable as well, managed to get the train on the cheap though.

Re: The depressing 2015/16 brighton & Hove Albion thread
Obviously Saturday's win was completely overshadowed by the terrible events at the Shoreham Air Show.
2 people who lost there life's were both Albion fans, who play for county league side Worthing United. Matt Grimstone worked as a groundsman at the training ground whilst Jacob Schilt played for the Brighton REMF game against palace in the summer.
Tragic time for all. Football league rightfully announcing minutes silences across the league cup programe tomorrow evening.

Strange day. Lewis Dunk finned for refusing to play against Southend a few weeks ago. Seeming obvious he was going.
Now signs a 5 year contract. Him and Uwe should be a great partnership though.

Walsall tonight in the I don't care if we lose cup 2nd round.
I'd really consider making 11 changes.
Change the entire back 5 from Saturday, rest Lua Lua, Kayal, Stephens, Baldock and Hemed.

Out of the pointless cup.
Full focus on the league.
Ipswich away Saturday, toughest game of the season. A point would be brilliant but we have to be realistic. None the less a boozy day in store!

The way the club has acted this week since the tragic events of last weekend, makes me so proud to be a supporter of this fantastic football club.
Ipswich away tomorrow, our first real stern test of the season. However we have to be realistic, not many teams are going to pick up all 3 points away at Ipswich.

That game had everything! Goals, character, atmosphere, tough challenges, Brighton doing there best to almost throw it away, Zamora playing and most importantly a WIN!
Fantastic win though and a really good away game to match. The perfect tribute to the tragic events last week, sure Matt and Jacob are both looking down smiling. R.I.P
Really excited but still early days. Also the signing of Elvis Manu is decent. Happy times to be a Brighton fan at the moment, let's enjoy it whilst we can!

Fantastic transfer window comes to an end, the club really have learnt from the shambolic summer last year and have acted very well this year, squad looks good and hopefully should get us a top half finish.
O'Grady leaving today, I'm in the very small minority that is gutted to see him go, although he never scores he does hold the ball up well and causes defences a problem. I think he will get goals at Forest, think they will need him in there relegation battle.

Now that the international snore fest is over we can get back to proper football.
Hull city at home, first vs second, should be a cracking game at the Amex.
Regardless of the result, the game is being dedicated to Matt Grimstone and Jacob Schilit. All fans hopefully in there seat for 14:30 when the tributes get underway.

Fantastic game today, but the result was never going to overshadow the superb pre match tribute that the football club provided. Fantastically observed from both the Albion fans but the hull city fans as well. The club really did make me and all of the supporters proud today.
The game itself, well another big team have been slayed. Wolves away will be a tough game next Saturday but before that bottom side Rotherham visit, now knowing the championship like I do, Rotherham winning would be so typical of this division!

But tbh mate it's already toppled last season completely. Fulham away last minute, Ipswich away and the tribute match today have already made this an incredible season.
