They introduce Zack Ryder and out he comes to a pop.
WWE United States Title Match: Zack Ryder vs. John Cena
Back from the break and we get dueling chant for Cena and Ryder. The cast of Entourage watches from ringside. They go at it and Cena hits a suplex for a 2 count. Cena with another takedown and a 2 count. Cena whips Ryder into the corner and runs in with an elbow. Cena whips Ryder into another corner but Ryder gets his knees up. Ryder with a missile dropkick and a forearm in the corner. Ryder goes for the Broski Boot but Cena gets up and hits shoulder tackles. Cena with the big slam. He calls for an Attitude Adjustment as fans boo. Drama gets in the ring but backs off and is pulled to safety. Ryder rolls Cena up for 2. Cena comes back but Ryder slams him on his face for 2. Ryder nails the Broski Boot and gets another 2 count. Ryder nails the Rough Ryder for another close 2 count. Ryder goes to the top for a 450 Splash but misses as Cena moves out of the way. Cena nails an AA for the win.
Winner: John Cena
- After the match, Cena helps Ryder up and raises his arm as fans pop. The guys from Entourage come in with Ryder and Cena to celebrate. They leave and Cena hits the turnbuckles to pose with the title. Cena turns around and is ran over by Kevin Owens. Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb and lays Cena out. Owens stands over Cena with the NXT Title. Fans chant for NXT and Owens stomps on Cena's title belt. Owens smiles and raises his title before we go to replays. Owens' music hits and he leaves as Cena starts recovering in the ring.
- Stephanie, Triple H and Rollins are backstage watching. Stephanie says Owens is so impressive he's almost scary. She says Triple H knows how to pick talents. Rollins says he's known Owens for a long time and downplays him, saying he's still the future and the present. Renee Young comes in for an update on Dean Ambrose but Stephanie doesn't have one. She says they will still give him the chance to sign the contract at the end of the night.
- We see what happened earlier with Ambrose and J&J Security when the camera man went down. We also see the police arresting Ambrose later.
Tamina Snuka vs. Paige
We go to the ring and out come The Bella Twins for commentary. Back to commercial. Back from the break and Naomi is out with Tamina Snuka. Paige makes her way out next. Paige and Tamina go at it to start the match. They end up on the apron and Paige hits a bunch of knees. Tamina knocks her off the apron to the floor. Paige crawls back in but Tamina throw her to the mat and keeps her grounded. Paige finally makes a comeback and unloads on Tamina. She connects with a dropkick and a superkick. Tamina rolls to the floor to regroup but Paige leaps off the apron and takes her out. Paige brings it back in the ring but Tamina meets her coming in. The referee backs Tamina off but is distracted when Naomi runs over for a cheap shot on Paige. Tamina with a big Samoan Drop on Paige for the win.
Winner: Tamina Snuka
- After the match Naomi and Tamina look on from the ring as The Bella Twins stand at ringside.
- Back from a break and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are in the ring. They cut a promo saying they're being persecuted for being positive. They're not happy about defending inside the Elimination Chamber on Sunday. They rip the fans and the Coliseum, calling them losers. This leads to a "New Day sucks" chant. Kane's music hits and out he comes to the stage. Kane makes The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Los Matadores, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons in a 10 on 3 match. That match is next.
Handicap Match: The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Los Matadores, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are out first with Natalya. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young are out next followed by Fernando and Diego with El Torito. Konnor and Viktor are out next followed by Sin Cara and Kalisto. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Kalisto is going at it with Xavier Woods. Woods gets the upperhand and taunts the other Superstars. They all rush in at once and beat him down for the disqualification. Big E and Kofi Kingston also run in and everyone fights now. It comes down to The Lucha Dragons in the ring after they send Kidd and Cesaro out with everyone else. Cara and Kalisto go to the top and splash out onto the other teams. The New Day come back in the ring and stand tall.

- Back from a break and Daniel Bryan is announced for Miz TV on the Elimination Chamber pre-show.
- We see footage from the Dean Ambrose segment earlier and it shows Seth Rollins pushing the camera man into Ambrose so he shouldn't be in jail right now.
- We go to the ring and out comes The Authority. Rollins talks about how Ambrose is a criminal. Stephanie talks about how Ambrose struck an employee and she wants to say more about it but their lawyers have advised them not to as it's an ongoing investigation. Triple H said despite Ambrose's state of mind, they were still willing to give him a title shot if he just signed a contract. Triple H says they have no choice but to formally announce that Seth Rollins will... Roman Reigns' music hits and out he comes. He rushes the ring and tackles Rollins. J&J attack him as does Kane but he fights them off. Triple H and Stephanie retreat to the floor. The numbers game catches up with Reigns and they beat him down. Kane chokeslams Reigns and the beatdown continues as Stephanie cheers them on. Fans chant for Ambrose. A police siren goes off as we see the van that carried Ambrose away earlier, pull back into the arena. Ambrose hops out to a big pop. He rushes the ring and unloads on The Authority. He drops Kane with a clothesline and tackles Rollins with more punches. Rollins goes to hit Ambrose with the night stick he brought in but Reigns makes the save. Reigns and Ambrose take turns on Rollins before sending him to the floor. J&J and Kane come in to beat up Reigns and Ambrose but they fight back. Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
I missed the first match, but what I saw this week didn't impress me.
All of the matches seemed inconsequential, therefore needed to be of a higher standard to hold my interest. Only Ziggler/Sheamus came close.
The US title match was well-booked. Ryder is so far down the pecking order that he shouldn't be treated in the same manner as Zayn or Neville. He looked good in defeat, and I like that he went for the 450 when the Broski boot, and Ruff Ryder didn't finish Cena off.
I've only watched bits and pieces of Raw recently, but how long has Lana's accent been off? I see that Rusev dropped the Russian hero gimmick, so maybe Lana's going through the Kofi Kingston school of American naturalisation.
I hope Lana and Ziggler don't become a long-term thing. Ziggler is starting to click with me a little, although I doubt I'll ever be a fan. Most of his career, he's been overshadowed by having a valet/love interest, and I think the same thing will happen with Lana. The partnership doesn't do much for Lana either, as she needs to show that she can be independent. I think she could make a great GM, but cannot see this happening whilst the Authority are around.
The Ambrose/Rollins stuff was pretty corny, but I found it amusing, particularly Jamie Noble's goading. I'm guessing the Shield triple threat match isn't too far away.

I dont know if i imagined this or not in my tired state, but did the 'cop' have to have a piece of paper to remember the miranda rights?
If Lana is now in the corner of Ziggler, does that mean a push is on the cards for him considering shes one of the hottest things in wwe as of late

Couldn't really have done more to build to the PPV, but with two weeks of a build-up it was always going to feel a bit shallow. I would have had all 6 IC champion guys in a Beat the Clock sprint, who ever wins their match the fastest comes out last, and slowest 2 start. Takes away a bit of the unpredicability of them being 'randomly' selected, but I think it could still work. Have the 6 guys trying their hardest to win quick so they spend less time in the Chamber.
Ambrose is gold, and even though we've seen the faux arrest - return later shtick before, it worked better with Deano, especially when he returned HE was the one driving the truck and wearing a police uniform. Thinking back, it probably would have worked better had we not seen Rollins caused the whole thing, and it was just Ambrose being Ambrose and getting himself out of jail.
After an excellent showing at NXT, my appreciation for womens wrestling is at an all time high, so I figured I would give this a chance. The Bella's being on commentary was a tough hurdle to get over, but the lack of Naomi's light up boots was the final straw. X30. Paige to win at EC.
Good development that Rusev has dropped the Russian thing, hopefully he can go back to how he was when he debuted, a super athlete who just wants to dominate. Not sure about Lana and Ziggler, or where Lana goes from here. She's been too good to be just dropped.
Ryder reminded people that he is better in ring than people give him credit for. Credit to Cena aswell for helping. And more credit to Cena for putting Owens over two weeks running. Maybe the WWE are finally accepting Jumpin' Johns role now is to help put over younger talent and that he doesnt need to be in the title picture all the time.
It wasnt a bad episode of RAW, but the standard has been pretty high recently. I still think they should have dropped Battleground and moved the Chamber PPV to that spot and give it some proper build up, but at the same time I can still understand why its where it is and why its Network exclusive.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Decent enough Raw.
Bit weird that Orton and Reigns are both matchless for Elim Chamber. Orton hasn't been on TV since Battleground, unexplained.
I like that they are remembering Reigns and Ambrose as friends, but I wish they would have asked "why" when they decided to send Reigns out. I liked that Reigns came out, but all they had to do was have Rollins hold a mic to his face and goad him into apologising or asked why he rushed out. Then all Reigns has to do is laugh and give a quick hint that Ambrose was on his way. Instead he came out, got beat up, and as far as he knew Ambrose wasn't on the way.
Also, I do believe cops in the US often carry around pieces of paper with Miranda rights on them. No idea why, but its something I've seen multiple times now.

WWE know they have gold with Lana, but I think they have absolutely no idea what to do with her. To be honest... neither do I. But stay on TV she must.

Where the hell have Orton and Big Show been? Not that I'm complaining about the latter!
Elimination chamber should be a good PPV, but Id rather it would be when MITB is and then push that back to Summer Slam.

I think Show is in a movie. Orton is working house shows.
I think it's great for wrestlers to be off screen for a month or so every so often, reduces their over exposure a bit.

I have no problem with absences. Unexplained ones are not smart though.
