I've had multiple offers from potential new followers, but I feel I just have to stick with Strong. He's hilarious.

Re: Fallout 4
Don't you have to eat people etc with Strong as your companion?
Valentine just likes me making robots come to life, I can deal with that.

Re: Fallout 4
I've got MacCready, he likes it when I do things that I do in my playthrough anyway. Strong seems to just dislike everything I do, including putting power armour on!

Possibly the hardest critter I've faced so far, cannot for the life of me kill him, tempted to use a nuke on him.
Is that in The Dig?
I think I've found it.

But Strong is hilarious.
"Tinker, tinker, tinker. Just SMASH!"
I also enjoy that Strong seems to hate everything.

It's a building in Boston where there's a big hole in the middle that you drop down into a pool of water, and then get ripped to shreds by the mirelurks like its the marines going into the Aliens hive.

You know you're playing too much Fallout when in real life you hear a clicking sound and immediately think that's a machine gun turret activating.

Re: Fallout 4
got this xmas and finally had time to give it a run, agree about the settlements. having never played any fall outs i didnt have a clue what i was doing. probably still dont. even though ive settled up a couple now
finding it tough, especially at first. kept running out of ammo and getting my ar$e handed to me. bit better once i started getting better weapons and for large majority of the start i hadn't any power armour because i was just exploring with my first power core and hadn't found any others.
just done the satellite base with all the super mutants, that was tough. especially when a legendary and mirelurks came at me at the same time. ive pretty much ran out of all ammo at that base again. although got two power cores from the bunker afterwards

Re: Fallout 4
Don't use power armour as I play stealth, so rocking the Silver Shroud look at the moment. So I either hopefully dont get seen, or talk my way out of it when I do...

Re: Fallout 4
ive just done few of the brotherhood missions, also finally made my way to diamond city
still running out of ammo all the time, although getting strong from top of the tower wasted most of it. was just about to beat the death claw in the museum of witchcraft when my game crashed tough sob him as well

Re: Fallout 4
You can cheese him pretty easily. The door you walk through to get into the room can be used as a sort of shield, he doesn't run through it. Just run in, take a shot or two at him then run out again. Rinse and repeat.

Re: Fallout 4
level 33 now, can tell i haven't played the others. i didnt know how to use the perk system (as like most others it doesn't explain it very well). i was up to about level 24 thinking i had to max out the top line before i could move onto the other sections and get the perks!!
fairly upgraded character with no perks for a while, now ive got all the best perks right at the bottom but skipped all the top ones
at the minute just doing railroad tasks

Re: Fallout 4
The perk system is new in this iteration mate, but it really depends on how you want to play the game to which perks you would want.
I put all mine in stealth and VATS as I play stealth rather than shooter or tank, I am level 54 and can one shot most things if I am not seen.

I'm playing with a luck build, loving it. It makes the game a bit more hilarious.

I miss the Wild Wasteland perk from the last game, that was usually good for a chuckle...

not one for sneaking about, i like just running around shooting and blowing up as much sh!t as possible. so i've mainly gone for damage resistance/health upgrade perks so far

Probably sink some points into strength and luck to carry big guns and find more ammo...
