Karl Anthony Towns went to the Minnesota Timberwolves as no.1 pick, with Jahlil Okafor heading to Philadelphia. New York Knicks fans were unhappy with their team's first pick, booing Latvian Kristaps Porzingis when his name was read out Laugh

Elsewhere, giant teenager Satnam Singh Bhamara has made history as the first India-born selection in the NBA draft. The 19-year-old centre, who was the 52nd overall pick, stands 7ft 2in tall and will play for the Dallas Mavericks.

Just an update on some moves, Jeremy Lin has signed for Charlotte, DeAndre Jordan re-signs with the Clippers, LaMarcus Aldridge has signed for the San Antonio Spurs & the LA Lakers have signed Lou Willliams & have given away future draft picks to secure Roy Hibbert from the Indiana Pacers.

Some interesting moves in the NBA

The Golden State Warriors have set a record for the longest unbeaten start to an NBA season with a convincing victory over the LA Lakers.

The Warriors' 111-77 victory on Tuesday extended their perfect start to 16 consecutive wins.

It means the Warriors have broken the record they previously shared with the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and 1948-49 Washington Capitals

Golden State Warriors eclipsed a record set by Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls as they became the fastest side in NBA history to 50 wins.

Star point guard Stephen Curry scored 36 points to help the Warriors to a 102-92 victory over Atlanta Hawks.

Monday's win meant they reached 50 victories from only 55 games, one fewer than the 1995-96 Bulls side.

Warriors are now chasing a second Bulls record, the Chicago side being the only team to win 70 games in a season.
