Bouchard IS out. Shes out of the top 20 apparently, time for a change I think.

Sloppy from Murray and not enough aggression. Main thing is about getting through with the minimum of fuss in straight sets though. Must do better (like reading one of my old school reports).

Another day of tennis
Wimbledon should only be a 32 player tournament, then we don't get to watch the dull opening 2 rounds anymore.

Coric should retire instead of aggravating the injury.

Changing coaches has not done anything for her.

Yeah.....as Luvsports says, think you're on your own with that one JM. And perhaps missing the basic point of a Slam
Then again, I guess some top names would be more than happy to see certain lower-ranked guys excluded with a field of only 32.
You know....lower-ranked guys like Darcis, Rosol, Stakhovsky.
And in yesteryear.... Doohan. Oh ....and Karlovic (when ranked 203).....

Lets not forget the wildcard Goran Ivanisevic. I wonder how he got on?

Dunno about his wimby, but he seemed to become a fixed point in time. Guy hasn't appeared to age in over 10 yearsCaledonianCraig wrote:lags72 wrote:Josiah Maiestas wrote:Another day of tennis

Good, battling win for Bedene over five sets.
Disappointed for gorgeous Laura, but getting back to full fitness must be her main priority.
As expected, perfectly comfortable victories for Murray/Nadal/Federer.

well, Berdych managed to get the 3rd set tie break - might prove too hard now for Chardy

5 Brits into the second round. Can't remember the last time that happened

4 of the 5 out by next round LK. They don't have that Spanish 'potion' as Yannick Noah put it.

Chardy is tough for a 1st rounder.

Ward's win catapults him into the top 100 for the first time in his career! A victory over Vesely would put him in the high 80's.
Broady up to a career high of 158 and a win over Goffin would put him around the 140 mark.

Am not too bothered about Murray struggling a bit in his first march. Last year he sailed through the first four rounds and then played a shocker against Dimi. Fed could have done with a tougher match before taking on Querrey
Could Brown shock Rafa ?
