Pre game choone in the changing room - Fight on the beaches - Winston Churchill
Tactics - Righto fellas I've come off the beer this week so we have a shot (see what I did there!). Anyways on a serious note these guys may bum us if we don't defend properly, but don't worry we will defend properly thus your anal virginities will remain in tact. The tactics are simple, clog the middle and defend deep. We have the athleticism and pace to deal with whatever rubbish they chuck at us, so long as we remain in shape and stay disciplined.
Navas - When the ball is coming at you, stop it going into the goal
Aurier and Sandro - Stay narrow to your CB's, don't allow them to go through us, force them wide because you have the pace to make sure they don't go round you that way. Force them to cross the ball, where our CB's will gobble it up all day everyday. When we have the ball break your necks to bomb forward, but also get back too cos that's important.
Maicon, Badstuber and Martins Indi - Deep line, don't let them through us. Make them shoot from long range. Any crosses into the box dominate in the air.
Casemiro - You screen the heck out of this game fella - any hint of a CAM you see him, destroy him. When we have the ball give it to Firminho
Clasie and Fernandinho - Work your socks off in there, get about their CM's do not let them settle on the ball when they have it. Force em wide. When we have the ball Clasie look for Firminho, Fernandinho remain disciplined.
Firminho - I have put you at AM, but to be honest you have no position today my man. You literally have a free role. I don't care if you pop up at LW, RB, ST or sweeper so long as you are in a position to receive the ball and damage the oppostion. SCORE GOALS
Morata - Stay on the last man, look to poach whatever you can.
- Real Madrid Tacitcs:
- Petr CechBranislav Ivanovic - Jerome Boateng - Giorgio Chiellini - Jose Luis Gaya
Toni Kroos - Andres Iniesta
Lucas Moura - Lionel Messi - Juan Mata
Luis Suarez
Subs: Morgan De Sanctis, Javi Martinez, Abner, Alvaro Medran, Ander Herrera, Cristian Tello, Raul De Tomas
---------------------
New look side today, playing a system that should bring the best out of the spine of our team, with a couple of gaps being filled due to injuries but we should still have enough to see off Porto, with Messi playing in the number 10 role this will give us so much creativity, Lucas on his right and Mata on his left supplying possession and making runs, with Suarez playing off of the last defender. I was tempted to play Messi at RW where he's been so good but it would have left us light, so Messi plays AM/SS with the aim of dropping off, picking up the ball and running at the Porto defence, with Suarez, Lucas and Mata creating space or being in space, and with Kroos and Iniesta supplying the bullets it will lead to chances. Kroos and Iniesta to hold, Kroos with plenty of experience playing DM in real life so it isn't an issue.
Cech - Distribute from the back to the fullbacks/CM's, stay in communication with your defence throughout, be wary of long range efforts and ensure you stay big for any one on ones. On occasion go long for Suarez or Messi.
Boateng/Chiellini - Chiellini to mark their striker, force him high up the pitch thus limiting his impact close to goal, and Boateng to be the spare man, be first to the second ball and their second striker/AM making runs from midfield. If they play two strikers Boateng marks him and Kroos drops deeper. When in possession bring the ball out of defence and use the midfielders ahead of you to help us play out from the back. Both of you go forward for setpieces.
Ivanovic/Gaya - Both of you to force the Porto wingers out wide, do not allow them to come inside as this will cause more problems for our midfield. They will want to cut inside so force them outside and block their crosses at source. They will try to create problems infield so its vital you only show them down the wing. When we have possession, push forward and support Lucas/Mata as they will try to run inside the fullback and you will provide the overlap to either create space or supply crosses into the area for Suarez and link with Messi/Kroos/Iniesta. You will need to track back very quickly to ensure we don't get caught on the break.
Kroos/Iniesta - Kroos the box to box man, assist the CB's in dealing with the Porto attack when we don't have the ball, but in possession get forward, use your physical presence and incredible energy to our advantage, link with Iniesta/Messi/Lucas/Mata and look to create chances for Suarez. Remain composed throughout. Iniesta the playmaker, without the ball drop alongside Kroos but in possession bring the ball out and look to create chances for the front four. Utilise your links with Messi playing just ahead of you, to supply him with the chance to run at Porto's defence.
Messi - Playing the AM role, with the ball I want you to drift left and right, drag their DM out of position as they will be assigned to track your runs, swap with Mata and Lucas on occasion to create confusion and leave space for your teammates to run into. Link with Lucas, Mata, Suarez, Iniesta and Kroos, look for Suarez on the last defender for a through ball and also shoot if you get the opportunity. Get yourself between their DM and the ball, make them go through you and foul you to stop you, thus creating setpiece chances for yourself.
Lucas/Mata - Both playing out wide and both have the pace and trickery to beat the Porto fullbacks and get crosses in, but both of you will also have our fullback overlapping giving you the chance to cut inside and get shots in. Swap wings on occasion. Look to supply Suarez with chances and also provide yourselves with chances. Link up with Messi, look to supply him as much as possible, and capitalise on the space Messi and Suarez's presence will create for you. Without the ball I expect you two to track back and assist your fullback.
Suarez - you will be expected to occupy the Porto centrebacks, hold up possession and look to turn the defender and shoot. Be strong in the air and look for your teammates trying to pick you out from deep. Shoot on sight. Stay on the last defender's shoulder for any passes in behind. Make runs when Messi is running at the Porto defence to either be supplied with a shooting chance or used as a decoy.

FC Porto 0-3 Real Madrid
Messi 52, 87, Suarez 70
Throughout the early stages of the game, Porto's disciplined shape in numbers frustrates Madrid who have little joy from either flank as Porto's FB narrow marking frustrates Mata in particular. Madrid can only threaten from distance as Porto swallow up the pressure and frustrate Madrid in an uneventful first half. Porto start to piece together attacks but Morta is frustrated in what little possession of the ball he has as he's easily muscled off the ball as he awaits support. On 52 minutes, Messi's trickery opens up the Porto wall as Messi creates half a yard of space and fires low into the bottom of the corner from 25 yards out. Porto start to gain success with Sando's pace causing Ivanovic all kinds of problems as he tee's up Firminho who escapes Chiellini but Porto's golden moments rattles the cross bar! With Porto's lack of support on either side, Sando gets caught out as Lucus crosses across goal as Suarez taps in to make the game 0-2. Madrid bring on fresh legs which is Porto's downfall as Lionel Messi easily taps in as Madrid run out easy 3-0 winners.

GENERAL TACTICS
Up against an unbalanced but dangerous Barca side. I've gone with a 3-5-2 to stop their attacks from wide but also try and dominate with 3 in midfield. We'll play a slightly deeper line than normal to combat the pace of Barca. I want us to keep our shape so defence to attack must be closer. To stop their threat we need to block of the spaces they'll look to get into .Gone with 2 striker's so we can get 1v1 with their CB
DEFENSIVE TACTICS
Each man needs to cover his defensive zone and do not allow gaps to open, keep it compact. Piszczek & Schmelzer show the winger the inside where Zouma & Subotic can squeeze them them. Pepe to pick up main CF if they play one, Zouma & Subotic pick up the men on your side of the defence. Bender to patrol the defence of there is a gap look to cover it. Thiago & Rakitic get in front of the ball and the man ,narrowing their angles.
ATTACKING TACTICS
Subotic try and bring the ball forward pressing them back. Piszczek & Schmelzer stick wide giving us width and get constant balls into the box. Bender drive the ball forward to Thiago & Rakitic. Thiago get the ball moving always demand it and play forward passes, take that risky pass. Rakitic our most advanced CM get into the box make late runs ,shoot, switch play. Aguero the best striker in the league with 7 goals, make that trademark near post run getting in front of your man. Play as a predator always look for opening. Griezzman drop off Aguero go deep if we need help in midfield, go out to the wings to overload the Barca defence. Run with the ball at them.

TACTICS
Playing Dortmund for nothing but pride. We can't win the league. But we now have the greatest front three in history. These guys know each other, and from the first minute we will look to get it to them and cause an overload with Di Maria and Pogba sneaking in behind.
DEFENSE
Their main threat comes from out wide, so look to stop that with our full backs being more defensive than usual, don't press too far past the halfway line. We want our attacking players to quickly put pressure on our oppoennts, every single one should be going to the nearest person with the ball and winning it high up. Win back possession quickly and don't let them settle. Aguero is presumably going to be the main striker, but Godin and Pique should give him nightmares, one sticking tight to him and the other sweeping in behind.
ATTACK
Rooney should get higher up the field, occupying the centre halves to give Ronaldo and Tevez the room to make things happen just in front of the back four. Between this three (the greatest strikeforce of all time - did I mention?) we should score a bucketload today. Swap positions at times, with Tevez occupying the centre halves, drift wide and look for space and pass the ball quickly. Pogba and Di Maria behind the strikers should both look to drive with the ball, look to play passes through to the front three and exploit the room the front three will provide for them. Gabi, sit deep and protect the back four. Be the easy option for a pass but don't contribute too much for the attack.
SET PIECES
Left Corner - Di Maria
Right Corner - Di Maria
Free Kicks - Ronaldo/Rooney
Penalties - Ronaldo
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning - Koke and Luiz for Di Maria and Gabi, fresh legs in the middle.
If drawing/losing - Berbatov, Luiz and Pastore for Siquiera, Marcelo, Pogba. The greatest front four. Fire us to victory.

Dortmund 1-1 Barcelona
Ronaldo, 51 | Aguero, 78
Barcelona are rampant in possession as they continue with wave after waves of attacking pressure as Dortmund continue to hang on for their life's as they continuously clear their lines to see out the first 20 minutes goalless, thanks to their disciplined shape with plenty of numbers. Rooney attempts a 20-yard curler and Tevez is denied from a point-blank save. As the half wears on, Dortmund start to gain success in midfield and start picking up confidence as they start to win the key battles as Di Maria goes missing. Aguero stings Bravo's hand from a half volley as Thiago is also denied as the team's leave the field goalless. The second half offers much of the same as Barcelona start on top and this time make it count. Schmelzer is caught in possession high up the pitch as Di Maria hits the by-line, Ronaldo thumps in the resulting cross as Barcelona take a deserved lead. After Rooney blazes over from close range, Dortmund's physicality is to much for Gabi as they grow into the half. After Bender picks his pocket, he releases Aguero who twists Pique inside out and hits a sucker punch as Dortmund draw level! Barcelona are quick to respond with 3 changes as they overload the box. Berbatov is denied from 6 yards out as the ball scrambles across the box.... As time runs out, Ronaldo fizzes a ball across the box as both Tevez & Rooney both slide and miss by inches as the final whistle brings this frustrating game to a close.

- Bayern Munich Tactics:
- Injuries: Koscielny,Schweinstiger,Nainggolan & Costa
-------------------Neuer
Lahm --- Benatia -- Hummels --- Rodriguez
-------------Alonso -- Cazorla
Reus ------------Ozil -----------Robben
-------------------Kane
Subs: Casillas,Fonte,Felipe Luis,Bellerin,Fekir,Willian,Dybala
Captain: Lahm
Corners: Alonso
Free Kick: Reus
Pens: Rodriguez
Team Talk: Due to severe injuries to us & Not our opponents (Thanks Marky) We shall go full tiki-taka football today. We have the players to do so shall look to dominate the ball and use our pace. Look to defend from the front against a physical Chelsea side. Like when sides play Barcelona we're gunna sit deeper funnel them down the wings to cross side their forward is small and break at pace
Neuer: Look to control the area behind the defence prowl and look to collect crosses or balls in behind.
Lahm: I want you to show Alexis down the line and make him cross the ball, Don't fall for the tricks just keep him from cutting inside and make sure if he does that you get a tackle in. Only go forwards if we're in complete control of possession and whip balls in for Kane.
Benatia: Last week Muller played behind Lacazette so look to watch for that but with Cesc fit im expecting a 4-3-2-1 so look for oncoming runners from midfield and look to track them. If Muller plays there then track his runs. Look to cover Hummels with your pace.
Hummels: Sit off Lacazette and always give yourself the yard to stop him running in behind our deep defense, Make him work infront of you and block him from getting in behind if he wants to get tight then physically bully him.
Rodriguez: Same as Lahm, Look to push Muller/Chamberlain down the wings and make them cross the ball. If cuts inside then get the tackle in, When going forwards look to exploit the Poopie of Darmian with Robben going inside and you outside and gets balls in the box.
Alonso: Just sit deep infront of the defence and look to cut the supply into the forwards/AM and stop them creating chances. When have the ball look to knock it in behind the full backs for Robben & Reus to get on the end of. Otherwise lay it off to Santi or into Ozil. When their coming down the left look to cut the option to come inside for Alexis
Cazorla: Sit alongside Alonso and look to help funnel them outwide. When defending just sit off and close down when get near the midfield and look to put challenges in. When on the ball look to get forwards and get beyond Ozil and look to create for the front 3 and have shots at goal. When come down the right look to stop Muller/Chamberlain getting inside.
Reus: I want you to run at Alaba and cut in off the wing to leave it open for Lahm to overlap. If he does play him in behind. If get beyond Alaba look to get at the CB's with your pace just knock it beyond, If forced down the line to keep play ticking over or whip it in.
Ozil: Matic is going to sit on you so drift all over the pitch and just draw him out of position, If he doesn't follow then look to slide balls in behind the defence and create chances. If pass into to Kane then look to run on beyond him into the box
Robben: Up against Darmian again, You ruined him once so we're gunna exploit him again with Ricardo getting beyond to double up on him. Look to dribble at him go both ways if forces down the line then whip it in, If cut inside then same at Reus run at the CB's and draw tackles in the box.
Kane: Up against Ramos & Otamendi/Terry id guess so look to back into the smaller one and look to roll him and get yourself in behind, Use your strength and physicality to back in and draw fouls. Look to drop off on occasions and make a diagonal run. Look to play Robben/Reus in behind if holding the ball up
Subs: Dybala for Ozil if losing - 80mins , If winning then Fonte/Willian for Kane/Robben and look to shut up shop
- Chelsea Tactics:
- ---------------------Courtois-------------------------
Carvajal ------Ramos --------Otamendi ----------Alaba
--------------------------------Matic-----------------
------------Verratti-----------------------------------
---------------------Fabregas------------------------
--Muller ------------------------------------Sanchez--
---------------------Lacazette------------------------
Subs - Blackman, Terry, Azpilicueta, Schneiderlin, Imbula, Oxlade Chamberlain, Luiz Adriano
Injuries - Christiansen, Mikel, Drogba, Bolasie
Relatively clean bill of health for us this week, looking to put the pressure on a Bayern side missing the likes of Schweinsteiger (FUSSBALLGOTT), Nainggolan, Costa and Koscielny
Game plan - Dictate the midfield, they're missing the Fussballgott and Nainggolan, look to use the power and pace of our midfield three to overrun them, we expect them to go with Alonso and Cazorla with Ozil in front and think we have the advantage here. Get the ball quickly into the front 3 and let them cause havoc
Courtois – Dominate your area, Dybala probably playing up front so be on your toes to cover through balls, distribute quickly when you have the ball as looking to play at pace
Alaba/Carvajal – Up against Reus and Robben, focus on your defensive duties today and don’t leave them with opportunities to counter. Alaba – show Robben the outside whenever possible, Matic will be coming over to help cut off his move inside. Carvajal – stick tight to Reus, Muller will track back to help. Alaba to attack more often than Carvajal
Ramos/Otamendi – Picked our quickest centre backs to counter the threat of their pacy strikers. One to get tight, the other to cover. Look out for the threat of the wings cutting in when the ball is played from the opposite side
Matic – Look out for Robben cutting in, otherwise do the usual and destroy in front of the defence, use your physicality and get the ball into Cesc and Verratti quickly when you have it
Verratti/Cesc – dictate the game, pass and move all day long, but when you have the option of getting it forward quickly give it to the front 3, with Koscielny out I think we can target them for pace
Sanchez/Muller – Win us the game. You’re up against 2 solid full backs, but don’t be afraid to attack them, make runs off the ball to get on the end of balls in, especially Muller. Take shots whenever they’re on
Lacazette – Run in behind all day long, you’ve got the edge in pace over Hummels/Benatia, Cesc and Verratti will find you. Shoot on sight, but look out for the wings making their runs
Subs
If winning at 70 mins – Cesc and Alaba off, Schneiderlin and Azpilicueta on, shut up shop but Alexis and Lacazette to stay forward for counters
If drawing at 70 mins – Stick with the same shape, Verratti off for Schneiderlin, get some pace in the midfield and drive forward
If losing at 70 mins – Verratti off for Ox, Matic to hold on his own, play 4-1-3-2 with Muller up top, Ox on the wing and Cesc playing off the front 2
Bayern Munich 1-1 Chelsea
Fabregas, 32 | Dybala, 80
It's clear to see that both managers have done their homework as the first 20 minutes are a very cagey affair. Alonso starts to find his feet and spectacularly picks out Harry Kane with the long diagonal ball, Kane takes Alba out of the game by taking the ball with his chest and finds Ozil who is denied from close range. Chelsea's midfield are able to stand up to the test with everything positive moving through the middle. Muller finds himself in along against Rodriguez and after turning away he fires across goal, Neuer is able to deflect away but the ball falls to Fabregas who smashes the ball into the net! Bayern quickly turn up the heat as Reus skips through numerous challenges but fires wide to close the first half. The second half offer's much of the same as Chelsea's midfield are more than a match for Bayern who are feeling the absence of key players. As substitutions are made, Chelsea invite the pressure as Bayern begin to gain success down both flanks. Eventually the pressure tells as Reus dances inside and cuts across, he teases the shot but lays off to Dybala who coolly slots into the bottom left-hand corner to draw level.

Re: Round 8 Results Sponsored By the toys that Azzy throws out his pram.
- Atletico Madrid Tactics:
- Up against Hero and his Juve match fixers. They have their main playmaker Isco out so let's try and take advantage. Juventus will probably play Pirlo and Vidal in the centre of midfield so I want Ramsey to stay close to Pirlo and quickly close him down to stop him from dictating the tempo of the game. They will have pace on the wings but mour full backs are no slouches and will be helped by the defensive goliath Bender, who will protect and cover for the full backs.

Captain - Ramsey
Moya
Experienced keeper, I want you to stay alert at all times and parry any shots that are too powerful to catch. Try and catch the ball if the opposition have a corner and quickly play it out to the wings to either Walcott or Menez so they can initiate a quick counter attack.
RB - Rafinha
Start off with a balanced mentality attacking/defending wise and see how well you are coping with the opposition left mid. I want you to close him down and put a tackle in if he tries cutting in. Also I want you to help out Walcott when attacking and make overlapping runs and get some crosses in to the box for Lewa to use his aerial abillity to score a goal.
LB - Maxwell
Similar job to Rafinha. Whoever you are up against you try and make them play on their weak foot and close them down if they try and take you on. Also support Menez by making overlapping runs and getting crosses in nto the box.
CB's - Alderweireld + Miranda
2 experienced defenders who have the experience needed to play at this high intensity without feeling the pressure. Whoever you are up against I want you to stick close to their striker/s and not give him any space. Either way you both should win the aerial battles as you have a better height advantage you shouldn't be greatly troubled aerially.
DM's - Bender + Ramsey
Bender will be tasked with closing down the opposition attackers. Watch out for the attacking runs of their midfielders. Ramsey will be allowed to play the ball out as he is a pretty good dribbler of the ball and if he sees an opportunity to shoot from long range then he should take it. Ramsey will also make runs into the artacking area and play quick passes. Bender will play the full game just covering for our full backs who are in attacking positions and will look to play simple passes to the wingers. Close down the opposition attackers and don't be afraid to put a tackle in.
Wingers - Walcott + Menez
2 effective dribblers who will be the focal point of our attacks. I want you to to try and take on the opposition full backs and put a cross in from the byline or go for a shot if you are in a decent shooting range. I want both of you to be aware of Rafinha and Maxwells overlapping runs and pass to them and play quick one twos. Track back when not in possession of the ball as the opposition will be deadly if we give them too much space.
Attack Mid - Pjanic
Pass the ball to the wingers and shoot if you see an opportunity. Use your expert close control and vision to pick out any of our attacking players in good positions.
Centre Forward - Lewa
Use your superior physical ability to create chances and hold the ball up. Peel away from the opposition defenders so you have a better chance to shoot. Try not to be in an offside positon and be aware of where the ball is at all times. Play the ball to your teammates if you are closed down.Use your heading ability to score headers. You got some pace in you aswell sp don't be afraid to take players on.
SUBS IF LOSING BY 65MINS
PUT ON GIROUD FOR BENDER. CHANGE FORMATION TO 4 1 2 1 2 WITH GIROUD PARTNERING LEWA UP FRONT. DE BRUYNE ON FOR PJANIC FRESH LEGS.
SUBS IF WINNING BY 65MINS
TAKE OFF PJANIC AND PUT IN DE ROSSI TO HELP THE DEFENCE. ULTRA DEFENSIVE PARK THE BUS COUNTER ATTACKING MODE ON.
SUBS IF DRAWING BY 65MINS

- Juventus Tactics:
- ------------------------Buffon----------------------------Laporte---Barzagli---Bonucci--------
Lichtsteiner-------Pirlo---Vidal-----------Asamoah
-----------Aubameyang------Neymar--------------
-----------------------Benzema---------------------[/size]
Team Talk
This week against Atletico we are continuing with pushing our two wingbacks forward to keep their flanks pegged back. We're playing with 3 at the back which Juve are comfortable with and utilising the silky skills and movement of Neymar and Aubameyang who both sit in the space between defence and midfield but with given free rein to move about that side.
Defence
A back three with Barzagli given the role of reading the game and ensuring all threats are nullified, be aware of their movement but ensure you don't get dragged out of position. Bonucci & Laporte to assist where required but to pick up threats from their wingers/AM etc if they break into the danger zone. Wingbacks to shepherd their wingers on the outside, no rash challenges and going to ground, slow their attacks down and block crosses. Look to come forward when the opposition have over stretched and there’s a possibility to outnumber them on the counter by doubling up down that flank. Don’t be afraid to hit a long ball for Benzema to run on to.
Vidal main defensive player of midfield pair, look to stay back when our WBs go forward, be the warrior in the middle of the pitch, get at the opposition and niggle them off the ball, ensure they don't get into their stride early on. If it means a cynical foul on the half way line so be it, better than one near the box. By squashing up the play it limits their creative players don’t give them room to dictate the game. Pirlo to assist in defensive duties when required, ensure Vidal isn't isolated so put a shift in with him.
Attack
Pirlo playing deep & given the playmaker role, be the outlet for our counters and look for the movement of our attacking options with balls into space. Vidal when the space allows to run with ball, draw players to you to release space for Neymar and Aubameyang. Neymar to play predominately on the left but allowed to drift inside, if heavily marked as expected then look to invite tackles from which you can unleash hell from your free kicks.
Speed abuse on the opposite side with Aubameyang, similar to Neymar in that by playing in an unorthodox position it creates confusion for the opposition on who to pick you up. Benzema lone front man, be ready to pounce on balls from our defence when pinged past their back line and beat the offside trap. Also look to combine with Neymar and Aubameyang, hold up play when needed awaiting the movement from your teammates.
Subs
Storari, Depay, Hernandez, Caceres, Marrone, Cambiasso, Saul
losing/drawing at 65m: Depay for Benzema, Neymar to go central but all three to interchange and go full on speed abuse run at defence.
Atletico Madrid 1-2 Juventus
Giroud, 67 | Aubameyang 9, Lichtsteiner, 83
The game fires into life as Juventus invite pressure from early doors. Walcott is able to skip past Asamoah with ease as both Lewandowski & Menez miss early chances. However, as both FB's begin to push further up the field, Maxwell is caught out and is unable to recover... Neymar cuts inside as the defence back-pedal, he picks out Aubameyang with a ball across from goal who easily taps in the opener. Atletico don't let the early goal unsettle them as Ramsey shadow's Pirlo who runs into trouble, Pjanic picks out Walcott who can only offer Buffon catching practice with a weak curling attempt as the whistle brings the first half to a close. Atletico make changes early in the second half along with a change of shape which quickly pays off! Giroud expertly peels off his marker and exploits Asamoah to thump a header into the opposite corner to draw Atletico level! As the clock ticks, the intensity only increases higher! Neymar cleverly drops deeper bringing his marker as Depay breaks through the last man! He shoots but Rafinha is able to match his pace and put a last-ditch block in! Walcott fails to present his defensive duty as again Neymar is up against Rafinha... This time he picks out Lichtsteiner on the overlap who drives a low-shot into the bottom corner! As Juventus re-group into their shape, both Totti and Ramsey go close but Juventus just manage to hang on for victory.

Re: Round 8 Results Sponsored By the toys that Azzy throws out his pram.
- Arsenal Tactics:
- Injuries: Hector Herrera, Claudio Marchisio, Carlos Bacca and Luca Modric.
4-1-2-1-2
---------------Ospina----------------
Alves--Ogbonna--Varane--Monreal
---------------Khedira---------------
Turan------------------------Rosicky
----------------Gotze-----------------
------Manzukic------Welbeck--------
Manager Notes: Up against Manchester City today, we have been hit extremely hard with injuries so i have changed the system up slightly. I'm not sure exactly what to expect from City as they are under new management. We want to control the midfield and use the power and pace of our strike partnership up front.
Defensive Tactics:
-The back 4 to keep that line solid throughout, squeezing out the attacks and tracking the runners.
-Varane you are to mark Bony getting tight to him and making it difficult for him to find space on the ball.
-Ogbonna be on your toes as you will be covering for Varane, tracking the oncoming runs from Bony as well as Bale out wide.
-Monreal i want you to cover for Rosicky as much as possible today as both of you will be operating down the left hand side and are likely to have the likes of Silva coming at you looking to cut in side. I want you to stand him off and push him onto his right foot.
-Khedira you are going to operate in our final third cancelling out any danger, patrolling the midfield and making your presence known. Covering for our back 4 and also for the likes of Gotze, Turan and Rosicky will be key as we will be pushing on quite a bit today, trying to pin City back.
-Rosicky and Turan you both need to put a proper shift in today as the left hand side especially is likely to have Bale operating there.
Attacking Tactics:
-Alves i want you to get forward and push on with Turan, pinning Bale and Clichy back from the start. Get beyond Turan and try to work your way inside, Mandzukic will be providing a presence in the area to give us an aerial option.
-Monreal you won't be getting forward as much as Alves as we want to overload that right hand side but i want you to support Rosicky when needed and provide options for him.
-Rosicky i want you to vary your game up, take the ball out wide and cut inside, use the options around you and keep working hard.
-Gotze i have moved you central today to give us a number 10 option in behind Manduzkic and Welbeck. I want you to always be looking up operating in the final third looking to turn the key and open up the door of the City defence.
-Mandzukic and Welbeck you both will be playing up front together due to the change in system. Welbeck i want you to make runs off of Mandzukic winning aerial battles and providing an option in doing that. The power and pace combination i feel will work well giving the City defence plenty to think about. Mandzukic, everything Welbeck does with his pace i want you to back it up with strength and power battling your way into the box looking to get on the end of everything.
Substitutions: Szcezny, Ansaldi, Arbeloa, Tiago, Banega.
-Banega on for Rosicky in the 75th Minute.
-Tiago on for Khedira in the 90th Minute.
- Manchester City Tactics:
Arsenal 3-0 Manchester City
Rosicky 25, Manzukic 27, Gotze 45.
Arsenal have been warming up for what seems like 3 days now... After being alerted that Manchester City were going to no-show, rumours were floating around that Manchester City were embarrassed by the fact that their stadium has more empty seats than fans. After a kick-about, Arsenal quickly get to work and score quickly as both Rosicky & Manzukic fire Arsenal into a 2-0. Gotze puts the icing on the cake by dribbling into the empty net to make things 3-0. Second half, Arsenal just run the clock down as they decide to have a fitness session.

It's actually because you gave him Sergio Aguero.
