Kid Galahad Get's 2 Year Ban
After one of the worst excuses ever for testing positive (brother spiked sports bottle), the Kid gets a 2 year ban.
It's one of those things, I'm sure those who haven't taken a form of PED's is the minority but you still deserve the ban if caught as its the rules.

Whilst I'm against any sportsman who uses PED, can someone explain to me why it's being reported Galahad fight vs Dos Santos will be changed to a DQ on Galahad's record? I'm pretty sure a dope tainted win is usually changed to a NC.

I'm glad they are cracking down. 2 years is significant. From the fan prospective though it's annoying that he's definitely out of the Frampton, quigg, Barry equation. God dammit Barry, lay off the juice Man.

He's back next September. He should be able to recover his career but I'd like to see longer bans (life bans even). No matter what he achieved from here on in, it will appear compromised (just like Shane Mosley Jr. and countless others).
I read Tony Thompson was drugged up to the eyeballs in the Price rematch. They should throw him out or get him to spill the beans on others (I watched a BBC interview once where he claimed countless heavyweights were taking PED).

I would estimate pretty much most athletes of any sport have taken PED's. It's more of an IQ test to get caught.
Think of all the boxing greats from the 70's and 80's. Given their competitive nature and considering athletes now getting caught with the more accurate testing, to think the Duran's, Leonards, Hearns, Hagler's etc weren't juicing is naïve. Obviously no proof but I'd bet any money I have on it.

I don't think Fury takes anything. I actually believe he is clean.
He is just a naturally big strong guy. I won't use names on this forum but there are 2 heavyweights I am 100% certain are juiced to the gills. It is so obvious, only an idiot would believe they are natural.

If Fury was juicing it would be the worse steroid marketing campaign ever and probably serve to destroy the stuff's reputation....kinda wish he was!
As for those 2 HWs, one of them now retired.......??
Olubamiwo was one of the most blatantly obvious cases I've seen, can't believe it took them so long to nail him!!

Those guys didn't look as though they were "juicing". Duran, especially, looked like a lightweight moving to middleweight would be expected to look: pudgier, thicker, less muscular. Surely something would have come out about it by now in any case? Most athletics cheats from that era have been outed (Alan Wells, Carl Lewis etc.).
PED have become more widespread and far more difficult to detect over recent years.

He didn't stay nailed for long. He made friends with a young Scottish fighter on FB and then grassed him up to the Board so he could have his ban quashed.
