Current Ring Title Champions and Number 1 Contenders
Do you agree with the current Ring Rankings?
In a boxing world full of all different organisations, titles and champions have the Ring got it right?
Here they are Heavyweight to Featherweight:
Heavyweight - Wladimir Klitschko - Champion
Cruiserweight - Steve Cunningham - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Light Heavyweight - Bernard Hopkins - Champion
Super Middleweight - Andre Ward - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Middleweight - Sergio Martinez - Champion
Light Middleweight - Miguel Cotto - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Welterweight - Manny Pacquiao - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Light Welterweight - Timothy Bradley - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Lightweight - Juan Manuel Marquez - Champion
Super Featherweight - Mzonke Fana - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender
Featherweight - Yuriorkis Gamboa - Title Vacant Number 1 Contender

Steffan

Re: Current Ring Title Champions and Number 1 Contenders
They've pretty much got it right, perhaps with a few points of contention. It's certainly a far, far more credible list than any of the alphabet organisations!
Perhaps there's a shout for Froch over Ward (but I think Ward's Kessler win about does it for him). Maybe Burns at SFW - although no one fighter has really taken a hold of that division as yet. LMW is up for grabs, but you'd have to say Cotto is a fair enough choice.
Good list
