V2 Football Podcast - "Can Man Utd Attract The Big Players Anymore?"
Welcome back to the V2 Football Podcast!
In Part 1: The boys look at recent events in the Premier League. Has Jose Mourinho lost it? Is it all just deflection? Can Leicester City keep up their good form? Are they no longer relegation candidates? Is all well at Manchester United? Has the summer gone to plan for the Mancs?
In Part 2: The team looks at Brightons great run in the Championship and asks whether or not they can emulate Burnley's rise as dark horses. In light of the abysmal refereeing at Anfield do the big clubs get all the decisions and the little clubs always get screwed? Or is this all just invented by the media? Are Southampton about to start dropping off?
In Part 3: The lads look at the last weeks transfers. Is Pedro a good signing for Chelsea? Should Man City have spent the £32 million on Otamendi elsewhere? Does both of these mean that Man United can't attract the big players anymore? Also featuring are Baba Rahman to Chelsea, Clinton N’Jie to Tottenham, Adama Traore to Villa, Xheridan Shaqiri to Stoke and Salomon Rondon to West Brom.
This week sees the inaugural V2 World Football challenge: Can our panelists tell us which country a random club plays for? But more importantly; do they even know where that country is? Hilarity ensues as the boys geography and footballing knowledge is put to the test.
