Ospreys v Munster 13th September 2015 14:30 Liberty Stadium
First topic message reminder :
Ospreys have lost their last two Guinness PRO12 matches, in Munster in last season's Play-Offs and at Ulster last Friday, but have not lost three in a row in the tournament since the start of the 2012/13 campaign.
The Welshmen are unbeaten at Liberty Stadium in the PRO12 in their last 14 matches since Munster visited the ground in 2014.
Munster's only loss in their last eight Guinness PRO12 encounters came in last season's final to Glasgow Warriors in Belfast. The Munstermen lost just one of their last eight matches against Welsh regions: 12-26 to Ospreys at Liberty Stadium in March.
The two sides met on three occasions in the PRO12 last season with Ospreys taking both regular season encounters but Munster victorious in the Play-Offs. The Munstermen's overall record at Liberty Stadium in all competitions is three wins and nine defeats.
At Liberty Stadium, 2:30pm.
Referee: Dudley Philips (IRFU, 49th competition game)
Assistant Referees: Wayne Davies, Martyn Lewis (both WRU)

Re: Ospreys v Munster 13th September 2015 14:30 Liberty Stadium
That is true but the indiscretions are being talked up big time in terms of the actual outcome. For example I thought Kilcoyne was on his feet when challenging for the ball. I would be 100% correct in stating that the O's crowd would have gone ballistic if that was the other way around. Secondly the scrum was about 10-15 metres out. It was a penalty it probably would have disintegrated the penalty was given if the O's were confident of winning a penalty try they would have gone for it again but given they were mostly losing the scrum battle it was not on.
From a Munster point of view I thought the ref didnt ref the O's at the breakdown at all. They slowed the ball down sometimes legally but an awful lot of times illegally (flopping over, slow to roll away etc), Old Dudley did nothing.
Anyhow if the O's had won I wouldnt have complained mainly because Munster were inept at pushing home their advantage in the second half. But the ref had no influence on the outcome.

Munster were inept? God knows what the Ospreys were then! We were so bereft of ideas in attack and when we did have opportunities, we gave the ball back to Munster. Very frustrating...

Good performance by the Ospreys. Very impressed with youngsters in the pack. Scrum looked very solid, won a few penalties off my are and didn't move backwards once. Line out looking good too.
I thought Leonard had a good debut and with Sam Davies managed the game well. Unlucky not to win as I thought for much of the game we had the upper hand.

That first one is for the build up of Munsters winning try. I remember the Lloyd Peers looking at the ref in bewilderment.

Those are the sort of ones that don't get called unless someone goes down injured, and then bans get handed out depending on the severity of the injury.

The first one has 5 Munster infringements. Play on.
That second one actually made me laugh out loud.
That's what they do. And that's what Deadly Dudley will let them do. All day long.
