-Gone for a physical , defensive forward pack. Looking to smash the opposition in the tight and drive them back.
-Keep the ball between the 10ms and grind the chiefs down waiting for odd matchs with Chiefs front 5 being caught in the wider channels.
I thought this would be a good oppertunity to test out props best starting 15 for me.

Re: Summer Tournament - Shield and Bowl Semi Finals
Falcons 24-26 Worc
Falcons 25 - 26 Worcester
Evens Stevens at the scrum. Evens in lineout, but more from Falcons locks in the loose. Like Worcester backrow, think they edge breakdown. Just about prefer Falcons HBs together, but good pragmatic combo for Worcester and more x-factor in backs. Just enough to steal match for Warriors
Newcastle 22-25 Worcester
Little in the scrum battle but McGuigan's throwing isn't up to standard and this will give Wuss the line out edge. Williams not good enough at 6 but Worcester stronger at 7/8. Not much between Dickson/Webb but Bigger a step up at 10 and Wuss centre combo stronger. Wuss back 3 better and they'll have enough for win. Bamm, McGuinan can be a weakness at hooker but good through the rest bar 12.
Newcastle 24 - 28 Worcester
Worcester looking very strong here with a powerful pack and well-balanced back line. Newcastle have a good WC side out but it doesn't have enough to trouble Worcester here even at home.

Re: Summer Tournament - Shield and Bowl Semi Finals
Sharks 27 - 24 Exeter
Sharks front row is top quality and on form at the moment, and with the big back 5 I think Exeter's RWC pack may struggle a bit. They'll compete well in the back row with Armitage and Lee, but think Sharks are pretty dominant elsewhere up front. Lambie is the best half back, while Exeter's backline is top notch, and will score tries with the ball they get. Don't think they'll have enough though, and Sharks win
Sharks 26-24 Exeter
Sharks 26 - 27 Exeter
Sharks take the front row, evens in all regards of second row. Good battle in carrying and the breakdown, can't call it. One HB a piece, but think white-Evans works well and covers all bases, if Nev finds form will be great. I like Ex backline with playmakers in Flood, JOC as well as HBs, think just enough for Exeter win
Sharks 25-24 Exeter
One way traffic in the scrum with the Sharks unit a step above. I prefer the Exeter back 5 though and they'll get them into the game. One a piece in the halfbacks but Sharks a better combo. Flood not the best 12 and could be got at but Sharks not too strong. Good back 3 battle.
Sharks 29 - 25 Chiefs
Chiefs look good for a World Cup campaign but struggle against Sharks here. Chiefs front row might struggle during RWC period.

Re: Summer Tournament - Shield and Bowl Semi Finals
Bath 30 - 27 Saracens
Some green players in both front 5s, with Whitelock obviously the standout player. That Bath back row just looks lightweight to me, and the power of Ioane and Hughes added to the breakdown ability of Brussouw is going to be tough during this RWC period, and think they'll blow the Bath back rowers away. Bath have a lot more quality behind the scrum, and will have enough to win, but Sarries side looks good for the beginning of the season.
Bath 26-23 Sarries
Bath 28 - 24 Saracens
Bath have more experience in scrum and can get joy from it. They take lineout with Whitelock too but Saracens great on the carry and lineout, great World Cup backrow. More safe HBs from Bath, then just prefer the flair of Bath backline and they win, loads of invention all over it.
Bath 25 - 23 Saracens
Bath have a bit more across the 23's here and take a good win. Both sides have good young players who should be able to contribute to there sides causes as the season goes on.
