Re: Summer Tournament - Plate and Vase Semi Finals
Lions 26 - 33 Wasps
Wasps look far too strong in the front 5 technically, and can match the brute force of the SA side. Same in the back row, while FTD is the class at halfback. Not much of a contest in the back line, the Wasps trio of Halai, Moala and Montero have a bit too much class for me, and think Lions are just going to be outmatched here, Wasps win
Lions 24-30 Wasps
Lions 23-24 Wasps
Good pack match ups with front 5's pretty equal but Wasps getting the edge in the backrow bar Barclay. Wasps just shade the halfbacks and have enough in the backline to get a sneaky win.
Lions 23 - 30 Wasps
Wasps look stronger every time they name a team. They get a good win against a strong Lions outfit. A more controlling 9 takes Wasps to next level. Backs look very strong and well balanced between runners and play-makers.

Re: Summer Tournament - Plate and Vase Semi Finals
Leicester 26 - 30 Stormers
Tigers gone with their RWC side, and its going to be a struggle against a big old Stormers pack. Think Leicester can get parity in the front 5, but there's too much quality in the Stormers back row and they'll run the game from there. Behind the scrum , even at halfback, while the Stormers centres and Leicester back 3 are the stronger units. Back row quality often decides games, and thats the case here
Tigers 20-23 Stormers
Tigers 22 - 25 Stormers
Stormers edge the front row, and with Etzebeth might take lineout too. Despite real life results, the Bok backrow for Stormers is a class above and they take that. HBs for Tigers could be dangerous. Tigers can't play Kolbe, and with a good backline, Stormers win
Leicester 22-25 Stormers
Stormers with a scrum and front 5 edge with both Tigers props struggling for form. Similar story in the backrow with Stormers better man for man and having a good pack edge. Prefer the Tigers halfbacks but Stormer backs better bar Ranger.
