Lancaster picked a team to stop the Welsh. You could argue that's tactics, but I believe you pick a team to cause them problems first, and then work out how best to stop them with that team. It instills in your team that they have more to worry about than you.

The caveat to that is that the injury to Joseph pre-empted a change regardless, but You'd think that there were other more fluid combinations available.

That said, we were winning it was working, so the actual crime was in what was, presumably, a pre planned sub of ford for burgess and the complete backline reshuffle it required.
