Officials semifinals
"The first semi-final will take place at Twickenham between South Africa and New Zealand on Saturday (kick-off 16:00) with France’s Garcès in the middle. He will be joined on the line by compatriot Romain Poite and Ireland’s John Lacey with George Ayoub of Australia being the television match official.
The following day at the same venue, Argentina will take on Australia in the second semi-final (kick-off 16:00) and England’s Wayne Barnes will take charge. His assistant referees will be Jaco Peyper of South Africa and Ireland’s George Clancy. New Zealand’s Ben Skeen will be TMO."
Garces not great for NZ (5 games in the last world cup cycle and we haven't been on good side yet). Hopefully we can take him out of the equation as we did with Owens last weekend through sped and intensity of play (2:1 penalty count to the French).
Fortunately, he's not much better for the boks in the 6 games he's refereed (although they got the better last time he refereed a game between us). Thankfully neither of us is playing a NH team.

Yeah not sure Garces is the right man, but at least it isn't Poite.

Strange as it might sound coming from a Barnes might have been a better option than either.

To me that means that Owens has got the final Or the third place play-off.

I got a feeling in my water that Joubert wont be doing the final.

I have just heard on the radio Nigel Owens is doing the final, so that means a final with a free for all at every ruck, scrum and maul. All for the spirit of the game. BOLLOX.
