Please vote for the 2 wrestlers you believe have generated the best work over the past 12-18 Months
V2 WWC 1st Round Group G
Welcome to another day of the V2 WWC, today features what I consider my own personal group of death, and I get the feeling a few people will agree with me
Please vote for the wrestler you believe has generated the best work in the past 12-18 months
Remember each person is allowed 2 votes per group in the first round
Please leave a comment as to who you have voted for and why to help facilitate discussion
The group will be closed at 23.00 tonight and no votes will be counted past that point
The top 2 will progress in to round 2
Happy WWC-ing

Went for 2 of my current favourites to make this easier, Owens and Breeze. Both superb in NXT, both making their mark on the main roster.

Went for Owens and Harper.
Breeze just hasnt dont quite enough to edge out Harper - who I've really enjoyed. Probably the best 'big man' the WWE have right now, with a killer move set.
I can count out Crewes, Spud and Bayley. Crewes hasnt been around long enough, Spud is just garbage and Bayley has only produced her best work since her return from injury. Havent seen enough Ibushi so cant vote for him.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group G
Ibushi had one of my favourite matches of the year against AJ at Invasion Attack. 3 of my top 5 G1 Group matches all featured Ibushi. And let's talk about his match against Nakamura at WK back in January. Quite simply, that match is wrestling perfection. It is one of the all time great matches. In fact I'd go as far as to say that it is in the top 3 matches that I've ever seen in terms of how much buzz I had after the match (for the record Dynamite Kid vs the original Tiger Mask and Austin / Hart at WM13 round out the list).
Kevin Owens is a my second no-brainer. He hasn't put a foot wrong in the last year. His NXT debut was impactful and his transition to WWE seamless. He worked back-to-back nights on NXT Brooklyn and Summerslam, he's worked some really good matches with the likes of Zayn, Balor & Cena and his persona and mic work are exemplary. In fact, the only chink in his armour right now seems to be the question of how good he looks when he works with a lesser opponent. Very interested to see how he is positioned coming out of the current tournament.
Luke Harper is one of my personal favourites. The ladder match with Ziggler under 12 months ago was awesome. He's a great worker. I don't really understand why WWE forgot about him for a while this year. IMO moving on Big Show and/or Kane and replacing them with the fresher and faster Harper would have been a good move.
Breeze I like, he's improved a lot. I'm not 100% convinced he's going to take that superstar step, but he's a good worker.
Apollo Crews we need to see more of yet, it will come I hope, but he's not working top level matches in NXT yet.
Rockstar Spud, is a nice plucky underdog, he works his heart out, but he's just not my cup of tea.
Bayley, I'm cooler on than most. That doesn't mean I don't like her, but I'm not queuing up for hugs.

How is Spud currently 2nd? Has Adam logged on with three accounts?

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group G
As I've said already this Group is going to be hell for me decide
Owens for me simply hasn't put a foot wrong in the whole 18 months we're looking at, from his match with Nakamura at WoW 14, the way he put over Trevor Lee on his way out of PWG, moving into NXT/WWE from the moment his hype vignettes aired to his debut against CJP he's been perhaps the best performer in WWE, the matches against Cena were the obvious highlight, he's had very few black marks against him and let's face it there's only so many anyone can do in 5 minutes against Ryback
Luke Harper, easily my favourite member of the Wyatt family and one of my favourite members of the WWE mid card, obviously an excellent wrestler and very underrated on the mic as well
I was ready to right Ibushi off but P's comment reminded me just how good he's been this year, he has had the tendency to slip out of mind though, since the 2nd half of the G1 he hasn't really done much for me, and he had a similar period between Invasion Attack and the start of the G1, but his highs have been so high, the WK match against Nakamura is my match of the decade, Honma at New Beginning, Harashima in DDT, The New Japan Cup run, Styles at Invasion Attack, the Tanahashi, Styles, Shibata and Naito, all of these matches run between at least 4 to 5 stars, lacks the consistency of some on this list but he's never done badly and you can argue his highs have been higher than anyone in 2015
More than anyone else, Tyler Breeze has been the heart of NXT, the guy has delivered as a character and in ring anywhere from the opening match to the main event, he will be sorely missed down there
Apollo Crews, people say they can't vote based on his limited exposure in NXT, I can tell you he has performed to the levels he's set so far all year long, from DG to Evolve to PWG to seemingly every UK Indy going, the highlight match for me was his DG swan song against BxB Hulk just an amazing emotional match from a freak athlete
Rockstar Spud, for me the most underrated member of the TNA roster, the best underdog baby face in wrestling, he's delivered the 2 best matches in TNA this year, against EC3 at Wembley and the name v career match against Aries
Bayley, I've always liked her and around Summerslam weekend she just caught fire with those tremendous matches v Banks and captured emotions in a way that made me tear up when she won the title, perhaps though it could be said she came late to the 4 horsewomen party in terms of her defining moments and lacks the consistency of the other 6 on this list
Looking hard I'd put Owens, Ibushi and Spud as my top 3, Owens for his consistant brilliance, Ibushi for his jaw dropping highs and Spud for knocking it out the park whenever he's given the chance, I'm sure Owens will be ok, so sod it I'm going for Ibushi and Spud

Owens .. debut against CJP
I'd clean forgotten he debuted against CJP. Got his nose broke in the first minute of the match, was an awesome way to introduce Owens.

Kevin Owens clear head at the moment, but for 2nd place we've got Okada, Spud and Bayley separated by 1 point in a tight three way which is some fetish porn I'd pay to see

Don't take this out of context, House, you need to learn about seeding. And that has nothing to do with sperm.
Owens is the best thing in wrestling, and as close to an heir to Austin's throne as there's been in my opinion. It is extremely hard after that.
Spud has got himself over fantastically, in a way I didn't envisage, and played both sides of his role brilliantly.
Bayley was involved in one of my favourite matches of the year (winning the title, the retaining is madly overrated) and is an incredibly sympathetic babyface.
Breeze is fantastic with his character work, a great worker too and more than deserves his call up.
Crews has it all, although he does look like the Monty Python boot squashed him a little once upon a time.
But for me its Luke Harper, the most talented member of the Wyatt family patriarch included.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group G
Owens us an obvious choice, should really win this whole tournament.went Bailey due to those two match of the year candidates
Definitely a group of death though. Outside of Owens I was debating between everyone but Ibushi who again I know very little about

Luke Harper getting less votes than Spud is disgusting.

You shouldn't sleep on Spud he's been TNAs MVP this year for me and that's despite being booked like Poopie for 3/4 of it
