Very frustrating half, not helped by some strange ref calls.
2 tries would have been a reasonable return for so much dominance.

7 points down after being outplayed for 40 minutes. It could be alot worse.
Surprisingly Shaun Knight is faring better than Stankovic.
Will we try and keep the ball in the 2nd half?
Oh, and that was a clear 2nd try for Nel

In real time that definitely looked like a try. Still Edinburgh completely dominant and really aught to put some daylight into the score in the second half

Watching the disallowed try again - completely unfathomable decision. How the TMO agreed I don't know!

He doesn't help that he does crawl along the floor a little. I wouldn't say it's an unfathomable decision, it's more marginal than clear cut.

Sooooo frustrating.
Here's a question. Was Nel's dissallowed try any different to kurundrani's try against Scotland in the World Cup?

I cannot see how you can say the disallowed try was harsh. He went to ground and then raised back up off the ground to propel himself forward. That's a double movement all day long. Reach out and place it yes, but raise your body back up off the floor to get yourself further forward to allow you to place it: no, no, no! Definite double movement. I can only assume you lot either a) do not know the double movement rules or b) are slightly biased

It regularly happens throughout any game - you get tackled and you propel your body to get into position. You surely should be allowed to reach out to score

Disagree - if he did raise his body it was incredibly marginal

Yes reach out straight away, not move via your arms and knees.

We're needing to lift it - we're not far away from being in trouble this game

Harsh on the loosehead - it was the other side of the scrum getting smashed!

Its just ridiculous that this is the third season in a row Solomans has yapped on about how the backline is developing, but then we get served up this display of clueless attacking play.

Harsh on the Dragons there - I thought we messed up the scrum.
Means we're uncontested now too!

This is a game that should be over. Yes, the ref has been beyond incompetent, but we have to getting 5 points from these sorts of games. Alas I fear we could contrive to blow this.

Think Fairbrother could've gone one.
Anyway, this will help us somewhat.

So Edinburgh had to bring on a hooker playing at loosehead earlier this season but Dragons can't get the tighthead covering loosehead?

Harsh yellow.
If we don't get 4 tries against 12 men we really should just give up as a professional rugby team.

If ever there was a safer bet in sport, its that Edinburgh wont score 4 tries.

But Edinburgh will still not score. The commentator was spot on when he seemed bemused that Edinburgh have no sense of urgency about them. Its bewildering that they dont seem to care about getting 4 tries
