The V2 Football Podcast returns after its week away at the awards!

In part 1: The team discusses the 5th round of UCL Group stage fixtures: Are Man United going out? Can Arsenal make it through? Have City and Chelsea performed to the standard?
The group also has it's most passionate debate yet when the 40 man UEFA team of the year shortlist is announced. Does this prove once and for all that the Premier League isn't as good as we all think it is? Or does it prove the opposite? Sparks fly as our panelists disagree wildly on the status of the 'best league in the world'.

In part 2: The lads talk about the goings on in the Premier League, namely: what the hell is going on? Leicester top, Chelsea near the bottom, why has the EPL gone so mad? Can Leicester keep it up or is this a false start? Who can go on and win it? Will anyone break the top 4 nut?
Finally the team talk about Garry Monk's job security: Would it be fair to sack him from Swansea? Just how much do young managers have to do to keep their place?

Quite clearly, no.

The arguement was that Spain have Barca and Real, Germany have Bayern, Italy have Juve and France have PSG - These leagues may have 1 or 2 better teams than the Premier League but is the Competitiveness and Unpredictability of the Premier League still enough for it had be considered the best league as a whole.

Best to watch, but not best in quality.

Isn't the PL about to lose a CL place as it hasn't been racking up the points in recent years? That'll change up the 'top 4' scenario
