WWE Raw Results - Spoilers Ahead

We start off with last week’s Raw when Sheamus faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship in a match that could go no longer than five minutes and fifteen seconds. While Reigns did not win the title, he did not lose his match at TLC, and the Usos and Dean Ambrose kept their matches at TLC.

We are in North Charleston, South Carolina and your announcers are John Layfield, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton.

Sheamus is in the ring with Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, and Wade Barrett.

Sheamus says he cannot tell you how happy he is. He tells everyone to look at the smile on his face. He asks how can he be stupid when he is the WWE World Champion. Sheamus says he spent the entire day trying to figure out what he was going to say when he came out. He mentions his match against Roman Reigns on Sunday at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. It is a waste of time because all you need to know about him and Roman Reigns is on his shirt.

Five minutes and fifteen seconds is all it took for him to beat Roman Reigns. Five minutes and fifteen seconds. That has to be a world record. Sheamus says that WWE has officially entered into the international era because they are the League of Nations. Four premiere athletes from four of the greatest countries in the world. Bulgaria (as he points to Rusev), Mexico (as Sheamus points to Alberto Del Rio), England (as he points to Wade Barrett), and Sheamus says he hears the USA chants and he says they tried to find someone from America but there was no one good enough to lace their boots. America does not cut it any more. Sheamus mentions Ireland as he points to himself.

Sheamus says they are dominance personified. Last week, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and the Usos . . .

Sheamus says the only people who looked stupid last week were Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and the Usos when they kicked their arse. There are not four men on the face of this planet who can match them. Do you want to know why? Because they are the best of the best of the best.

The lights go out and the Wyatts appear in the ring when the lights come back on.

Bray says to pardon the interruption but they have not properly been introduced. Bray introduces himself and he says that these are his brothers. They don’t care about your nations or whatever. This is all his world and he is allowing you to breathe in it. You want to come out here and talk about dominance, but they didn’t come out here to talk. They came out here for the chaos.

Pyro goes off and the Dudley Boyz make their way onto the stage and they are joined by Tommy Dreamer. Bubba tells Bray they will see your chaos and raise you to the extreme. He says that is not a catchphrase.

Bray says the message he tried to send them is not very clear. He wants to give it one last time. You are outmanned and outgunned. Do everyone a favor and do not get in his way.

D-Von tells Bray that is where he is wrong. When you are extreme, you don’t die, you multiply. Rhyno makes his way onto the stage with The Dudleys and Dreamer.

They make their way down the ramp>

Before they get into the ring, Roman Reigns’ music plays and he comes to the ring with Dean Ambrose and the Usos as they make their way to the ring through the crowd and we go to commercial.

Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Braun Strowman versus Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Rusev, and Wade Barrett versus Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno, D-Von Dudley, and Bubba Ray Dudley versus Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso in an Elimination Quads Match

Bubba and Harper start off going after each other while Alberto and Dean fight. Ambrose sends Del Rio to the floor and he hits a slingshot plancha. Bubba with an Irish whip and clothesline. D-Von tags in and they hit a double flap jack and D-Von punches Harper and applies a side head lock. Harper with a super kick and then Dean with a missile drop kick to Harper. Del Rio with a lungblower to Ambrose for a near fall. Del Rio kicks D-Von and tags in Rusev.

Rusev and Del Rio with a double belly-to-back suplex to D-Von for a near fall. Rusev punches Ambrose and Ambrose avoids a slam. Jimmy tags in and punches Rusev. Wyatt with a clothesline and D-Von punches Rusev. D-Von and Wyatt exchange punches and then Wyatt kicks Jimmy while Rusev punches D-Von. Wyatt chokes Jimmy in the ropes and he kicks him.

Rusev with a punch to D-Von. D-Von with a flying shoulder tackle to Rusev and Rhyno tags in and he clotheslines Wyatt and hits a back elbow to Rusev and follows with a belly-to-belly suplex on Jimmy. Strowman comes in and Strowman with a body block to Rhyno and Rusev followed by Jimmy.

Dreamer tags in and Rhyno and Dreamer punch Strowman. They clothesline Braun over the top rope to the floor. Jimmy with a super kick to Dreamer but Rusev blocks a super kick and hits a fallaway slam on Jimmy. Rusev knocks Rowan off the apron.

Rusev goes up top and Jimmy with punches and he tags in Jey. They go for a double superplex but Strowman comes in and he goes under the Usos and as Rusev goes over, he takes Dreamer down. Rowan knocks the Dudleys and Rhyno off. Dreamer avoids a round kick and he hits a DDT for a three count.

Wyatts Eliminated

Sheamus sends Dreamer into the turnbuckles and we go to commercial.

We are back and Del Rio tags in and he goes up top and he connects with a forearm to Dreamer while Sheamus holds Dreamer. Del Rio with a kick and he gets a near fall. Del Rio goes into the turnbuckles and he hits an enzuigiri on Jey. Sheamus tags in and Del Rio chokes Jey. Dreamer with a neck breaker on Sheamus and Bubba tags in and punches Sheamus. Bubba with a clothesline and uranage. Barrett breaks up the cover and then we have twelve men-a-fighting until it is down to Rhyno and Reigns.

Rusev hits Rhyno from behind while Sheamus attacks Reigns from behind. The Dudleys with a 3D to Rusev and then Bubba slams Sheamus and D-Von goes up for the Wassup only to be stopped by Del Rio. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick to Bubba to eliminate him.

Dudley Boyz, Rhyno, and Tommy Dreamer Eliminated

Sheamus and Barrett go over to the announce table where Del Rio is hugging Rusev. They discuss strategy.

Dean tags himself in to replace Jey to face Sheamus. Rusev tags in and he misses a clothesline. Ambrose with punches and chops. Ambrose with a cross body and punches. Ambrose runs across the ring to hit a forearm in the corner and follows with a bulldog. Ambrose goes up top and hits an elbow on Rusev for a near fall.

We go to commercial as Ambrose hits a side Russian leg sweep.

We are back and Sheamus with forearms to Jey on the apron but Roman hits Sheamus from behind to stop him. Barrett steps on the leg from the apron. Del Rio tags in and he kicks Jey and gets a near fall. Del Rio climbs the turnbuckles and punches Jey. Rusev tags in and he Irish whips Jey into the corner and applies a bear hug. Jey boxes the ears to get out of the hold. Barrett tags in and he kicks Jey. Barrett kicks Jey but Barrett gets crotched on the top rope.

Reigns tags in and hits a clothesline on Del Rio and follows with a flying clothesline. Reigns runs into a boot but Reigns with a rollup into a one arm power bomb. Reigns sets for the Superman Punch but he goes after Barrett instead. Del Rio is sent to the apron and Reigns with a Superman punch to Del Rio. Ambrose clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope and then knocks Rusev off the apron.

Reigns with a Juggernaut Broad Jump Drop Kick to Sheamus while Ambrose hits a suicide dive on Rusev. Del Rio sends Reigns into the ringside barrier. The Usos with a plancha onto Del Rio. Sheamus holds Reigns and Del Rio with a super kick for a near fall. Del Rio with a cross arm breaker but Jey with a superfly splash onto Del Rio.

Sheamus tags in and he mocks the Superman punch pose and he gets ready for the Brogue Kick but Reigns with a spear for the three count.

Winners: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso

Charlotte and Ric Flair are in the back and they are talking to each other as they get ready for their appearance on MizTV.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at how the four on four on four on four elimination match ended.

Sheamus is walking in the back and he is stopped by Renee Young. She asks him if that is a preview of what will happen at TLC in the WWE Championship Match. Sheamus says a great man once said there is no chance in hell. That was the closest Roman will get to beating him for this championship. He says we don’t believe in miracles but we might have seen one tonight. He is not going to beat Roman, he is going to smash his face in, he is going to rip his hair out, he is going to grind his teeth down. He might do it in less than five minutes and fifteen seconds.

Renee asks Sheamus if there is a lesson to learn here. Sheamus says the only lesson is the one he is going to teach Roman. He will do it later tonight in front of the entire world.

Stardust is in his room and he calls everyone delusional fools to believe that the heroes will always triumph. You go to see the Galactic Empire with the Death Stars. You clamor for the darkness and of course Stardust will comply by taking out your All American Hero, Jack Swagger.

Stardust turns around and Titus is standing there. Titus says it is about Stardust. He comes in here and rants and raves in his low budget room. He tells Stardust he needs to get him some. He needs some me time. He needs to get a good book and a strong bottle of wine. Then you won’t be talking about conjuring up conquering the world.

Stardust says he will not sleep until the WWE is engulfed in darkness, it does not mean that he does not have a life.

Titus tells Stardust to have his way and he will see him out there.

Before our next match, Tyler Breeze makes his way to the ring with Summer Rae.

Dolph Ziggler versus Kevin Owens in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Owens sends Ziggler to the mat and he talks about his power. Ziggler goes for the leg but Owens stays on top of Ziggler until Ziggler gets Owens to the mat with a front face lock.

Dean Ambrose found his old bucket of popcorn and soda to watch the match on THE Monitor.

Owens with a front face lock and Ziggler escapes and applies a hammer lock. Owens pushes Ziggler when Ziggler does not release the hold. Ziggler pushes back and Owens goes into the ropes and onto the apron. Owens yells at Cole before returning to the ring.

They lock up and Owens with a side head lock. We look at a ladder watching the match as Owens hits a shoulder tackle and gets a near fall. Owens with a rear chin lock. Ziggler with a top wrist lock and he takes Owens to the mat and gets a near fall. Ziggler returns to the front face lock. Ziggler gets a near fall with a rollup. Ziggler with a side head lock.

Owens with a waist lock and Ziggler with a standing switch. Owens with an elbow and then he connects with a forearm and chop. Owens with more forearms. Ziggler with a kick and punches. Owens misses a punch and Ziggler goes for the hesitation DDT but Owens pushes him away. Ziggler with a kick and drop kick. Ziggler with a Stinger Splash but Owens avoids the neck breaker. Owens avoids a super kick and then he drops Ziggler across the top rope. Ziggler with a drop kick that knocks Owens off the apron.

Ziggler punches Owens on the floor and gives Owens a head butt. Owens with a kick and then he tries to slam Ziggler on the floor but Ziggler with punches and Owens with a fallaway slam that sends Ziggler into the ringside barrier.

They return to the ring and Owens gets a few near falls. Owens punches Ziggler. Owens with a boot to the back. Owens punches Ziggler as he mocks Dolph’s defensive position. Owens tells Ziggler to show him something and Ziggler with punches but Owens with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Owens rubs his forearm across the face.

Owens chops Ziggler as Ziggler has trouble staying on his feet. Owens slams Ziggler and he sets for the back senton but Ziggler misses. Ziggler punches Owens. Owens with an Irish whip and misses a splash. Ziggler misses a splash into the turnbuckles and Owens sends Ziggler shoulder first into the ring post and Ziggler falls to the floor. Ziggler gets back into the ring at nine and a half.

Owens with a back senton for a near fall. Owens argues with the referee and Ziggler rolls to the floor and we go to commercial while Ziggler yells words that are not suitable for Raw.

We are back and Owens with a head lock and Ziggler with forearms. Owens with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Owens with a reverse chin lock.

Dean is still eating popcorn and holding a drink watching THE MONITOR.

Ziggler with a jaw breaker. Owens charges into the corner and he hits the ring post shoulder first. Ziggler with a clothesline and Stinger Splash followed by a neck breaker. Ziggler with a leaping elbow drop with his injured arm and he gets a near fall. Owens counters the hesitation DDT by sending Ziggler over the top rope to the floor.

Ziggler with a hesitation DDT on the floor and both men are down. Ziggler rolls Owens back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Ziggler with a kick and he misses a Fameasser. Owens with a German suplex but he misses the cannonball. Ziggler with a Fameasser for a near fall. Owens gets to his feet first and Ziggler goes for a Zig Zag but Owens holds the ropes. Ziggler has a super kick blocked. Owens with a super kick and Ziggler bounces off the ropes with a super kick and he falls on top of Owens for a near fall.

Ziggler with a front face lock and punch with his injured hand. Ziggler wit a head butt and then Owens with a pop up power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Even though Owens won the match, Dean Ambrose’s music plays and he comes to the ring with his popcorn and his beverage.

Owens wants to know where his music is and Ambrose gets onto the apron and enters the ring.

Owens says he wants his music and he wants to know what Ambrose is doing. Ambrose throws his popcorn and drink at Owens and leaves the ring.

Bray Wyatt appears and he says then there were four. Four blind mice wandering into the snake’s nest. They were lost and it is up to them to decide their fate.

Braun says he has a dream that he becomes Tommy Dreamer’s nightmare. He will squeeze the life out of him until he begs for his last breath. Bray tells Braun he will show Tommy Dreamer what it means to be extreme. He tells Tommy to run.

We go to commercial.

We are back with facts about Lana.

Neville is in the back and he says they need to stop meeting like this and we see it is the Miz. Miz says he was serious about what he said on Smackdown. The right packaging can take you from Elf on the Shelf to the next Daniel Bryan. Miz introduces Neville to Donny Deutsch.

Donny says his show is the coolest and hottest and it airs after Raw tonight. He will get Neville on the show. Miz and Donny argue about which show is better.

Donny mentions that Christie Brinkley will be on his show and Miz points out that she was hot in the 80s. Donny suggests that Miz and Neville be on their show and he says Miz can be on in five years and Donny tells Neville he wants to see him soon.

We see Team B.A.D. in the Girl From Mexico Box. They discuss the proper spelling of Unity and they say the Bellas have no idea what the word means. Tamina says they are going to whip Team Bella with Unity.

Naomi and Sasha Banks (with Tamina Snuka) versus Alicia Fox and Brie Bella

Sasha and Alicia start things off and Sasha pushes Alicia and then Alicia goes after Sasha and Sasha gets into the ropes. Alicia pulls Sasha out from the ring. Alicia with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker so powerful it knocked off the feed. Naomi tags in and connects with a shoulder tackle. Alicia with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and Naomi goes to the floor. Alicia and Brie with a double baseball slide to Naomi and Sasha.

Alicia goes to the floor and sends Naomi back in and Alicia gets on the apron and Tamina pulls Alicia down by her hair. Naomi kicks Alicia. Naomi sends Alicia into Sasha’s boot and Sasha tags in and kicks Alicia. Naomi tags back in and Sasha sends Alicia into Naomi’s boot. Naomi with a drop kick to Alicia and she gets a near fall. Naomi with a reverse chin lock.

Naomi with a knee to the midsection. Naomi sends Alicia into the turnbuckles and she sends Alicia into Sasha’s boot. Sasha tags in and snap mares Alicia and applies a rear chin lock. Sasha with a clothesline for a near fall. Alicia with a rollup for a near fall but Sasha kicks Alicia and knocks Brie off the apron. Alicia sends Sasha into Naomi’s boot but Naomi tags in and she stops Alicia from making the tag. Alicia kicks Naomi away and Brie tags in.

Brie with drop kicks and a bulldog. Brie with kicks of Yes followed by a drop kick and Naomi goes into the ropes. Brie with the Brie Mode Running Knee for a near fall. Sasha breaks up the cover and Alicia is sent to the floor. Brie sends Sasha to the floor and Sasha grabs Brie’s leg and Naomi with Rear View for the three count.

Winners: Sasha Banks and Naomi

After the match, the New Day make their way to the ring and they have their horns and trombone.

The New Day give horns to Team B.A.D. and they put them on. They dance in the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and the Usos are at the announce table.

The New Day are still in the ring and Big E says they are not selfish. Kofi says they are the most generous team in the WWE. Xavier says they gave a donation to the League of Nations. Big E says that is a tax write off. They also gave a bunch of name suggestions to Kim and Kanye. Big E says Booty West is a good idea.

Kofi says that title opportunities should not be given out willy nilly. Xavier says they have to defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against the Usos and Lucha Dragons? Big E says that is OUTRAGEOUS. Xavier points out that this is a ladder match. Kofi says they have no use for ladders. Big E asks if they look like house painter. Kofi asks if they look like firefighters. Xavier says they are not saving cats from trees.

Xavier says that Big E will play the role of the tree while Kofi plays the role of a cat and Xavier plays the New Day. Xavier asks if the cat needs help and then he says they do not need a ladder because they are grown men. They save the cat.

Big E says at TLC they can lose the title without being pinned. Kofi says that the New Day will ascend the ladder of success and the tag titles will stay where they belong. Around the smooth bellies and on the waists of the New Day.

Why will they win? It is because The New Day Rocks.

Kalisto and Sin Cara versus Big E and Kofi Kingston (with Xavier Woods) in a Non Title Match

Kofi and Cara start things off and Cara with a hammer lock and chop. Kofi tags in Big E and Cara drop kicks Big E off the apron. Cara chops Kofi and Cara with a suicide dive onto Big E but Big E catches Cara and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and Xavier plays his trombone while Big E mocks Cara.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Big E misses a splash into the corner when Cara moves. Kalisto and Kofi tag in and Kalisto with a springboard splash and a springboard corkscrew splash. Kofi sends Kalisto to the floor after Xavier distracts Kalisto and plays innocent. Big E picks up Kalisto and he runs Kalisto into the ringside barrier. Woods with some double horn action. Big E rolls Kalisto back in and he kicks hi in the corner. Kofi tags in and he kicks Kalisto. Big E tags back in and he kicks Kalisto. Kofi tags in and Big E Irish whips Kofi into the corner with a drop kick.

Kofi swings at Cara and Kalisto with a head scissors and Cara makes the tag. Big E tags in and Cara with a swanton onto Big E followed by kicks and a springboard cross body. Kofi tags in and Cara with a quebrada and he covers Big E instead of Kofi. Kofi with a kick and Woods plays the trombone by the Usos and The Usos assault Xavier, showing they do not appreciate music. Cara with a reverse rollup for the three count.

Winners: Kalisto and Sin Cara

We take a look back at how Raw started and the end of the four on four four team elimination match.

Renee Young is with Roman Reigns and she asks him about Sheamus’ comments earlier. Roman asks if Sheamus is a professor. If he wants to teach him about facial hair or piercing your face, he might listen to him. If he wants to talk about being a champion, he will pass on it. He will teach Sheamus what it is like to get blistered by chair shots or to be sent through a pile of tables. He will show Sheamus what it feels like to be former WWE Champion. That is for TLC. If Sheamus wants to teach him a lesson tonight, we will see who goes to school.

We take a look back at last week’s match between Charlotte and Becky Lynch when Charlotte acted like a Flair in the match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for MizTV and Miz is in the ring to welcome everyone. Miz says he was going to surprise his guests with Paige, but due to circumstances beyond his control, that will not be happening.
Miz brings out Charlotte and Ric Flair.

Charlotte tells Miz that is now how you introduce a legend. He tells Miz he should be Tyra Banks and quit his own show. Charlotte introduces her father as the sixteen time world champion, the only two time WWE Hall of Famer, and the greatest competitor to step foot in this ring.

Charlotte tells his dad they have ten minutes on Rolex time and they synchronize Rolexes.

Miz says there has been a change in Charlotte and he asks Ric if he is so proud.

Ric says every day he sees his beautiful daughter gain more confidence, living the life of a champion. The only thing better than winning a championship is seeing your son or daughter retaining it. He says he will be in Charlotte’s corner on Sunday.

Miz says the rumor mill has been buzzing about this new attitude. People have called her self serving and egotistical.

Charlotte says that because she is going to do what it takes to be the best, just like her dad taught her. She says if she was a man, Miz would be praising and commending him. Charlotte tells Miz she feels sorry for his wife.

Miz says it is not about him or his wife. It is about you and your behavior. Ever since Paige questioned your behavior after you won the title, you have changed. You have remained silent to Paige’s allegations. What do you have to say.

Charlotte says that if she has anything to say, she will say it on Sunday.

Miz says that Paige interfered with your friendship with Becky and this is the time for you to respond to Paige and you want to turn it down? Why do you want to avoid the question?

Ric tells Miz this is not the opportunity to give Charlotte the third degree to bump your ratings.

Miz asks Charlotte if she is going to hide behind her father. Then Miz reminds Charlotte what Paige said about her.

Ric tells Miz to watch it. Charlotte says the only thing lower on the food chain that you is that two faced gothic piece of trash Paige. Charlotte says she wishes Paige was here now. She will destroy Paige on Sunday for everything she has said about her and her family. Paige will be lucky to step in the ring after Sunday.

Miz says he is so glad that Charlotte said that. Miz points out that Paige is here.

Paige appreciates the passion. Paige says that she is here and she is all hers for her to tell her what she wants.

Ric says this is a ploy to upset her and he tells Charlotte to save it for Sunday. He says that they are Flairs and they are champions.

Paige slaps Ric after Charlotte goes to the floor.

Ric tells Charlotte to get her. Charlotte takes Paige down and punches her but Paige gets out of the ring.

We go to commercial.

We go to the Goldman Box and Rusev and Lana are kissing. Lana says that no one will understand the feelings that they have for each other. Lana says if you have love in your heart you have forgiveness. She says that Ryback does not have that type of hate in his heart and she forgives him.

Ryback versus Rusev (with Lana)

Rusev goes to the floor once the bell rings and he stretches since he was part of a long match earlier in the night. The referee makes his count and Rusev gets onto the apron and back in the ring before the ten count. Rusev continues to stretch when he gets back into the ring. They lock up and Ryback sends Rusev to the mat and Rusev goes to the floor and he holds his back.

Ryback with a corkscrew plancha onto Rusev. Ryback sends Rusev back into the ring and gets a near fall. Ryback punches Rusev and connects with a forearm and punches. Ryback with back elbows in the corner. Ryback with a suplex for a near fall. Ryback with a kick and punches. Ryback gets sent over the top rope to the floor when Ryback charges at Rusev.

Rusev drops Ryback’s arm on the top rope and we go to commercial.

We are back and Ryback punches Rusev. Ryback presses Rusev over his head but he cannot keep Rusev up because of his arm injury. Rusev kicks Ryback in the arm and wraps the arm in the ropes. Rusev with an Irish whip into the turnbuckles sternum first and Rusev gets a near fall. Rusev continues to work on the shoulder but Ryback with a belly-to-belly suplex and both men are down.

Ryback with a back elbow and running shoulder tackle. Ryback with a flying shoulder tackle and then he pounds his chest with the good arm. Ryback with shoulders in the corner. Rusev with an Irish whip but Ryback with an elbow and missile drop kick for a near fall. Rusev goes to the floor and Ryback follows. Ryback chases Rusev around the ring and then Ryback bumps into Lana as Rusev is able to avoid Lana but Ryback cannot.

Rusev attacks Ryback from behind while Lana limps away. Rusev sends Ryback into the ring post and then Rusev stomps on the back and he applies the Accolade on the floor and the referee makes the ten count.

Double Count Out

After the match, we see that Lana is okay.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Titus O’Neil is with the announcers to talk about Stardust.

Stardust versus Jack Swagger

We are back and the match is joined in progress and Swagger with a Swagger Bomb and then he applies the ankle lock and Stardust gets to the ropes.

Alberto Del Rio’s music plays and he comes to the ring with Zeb Colter. Stardust sends Swagger’s shoulder into the ring post. Stardust kicks Swagger in the corner. Stardust with a knee and punches. Stardust with kicks and he rakes the eyes. Stardust with an Irish whip but Swagger with clotheslines and he goes for the Swagger Bomb but Stardust gets his feet up. Swagger with a belly-to-belly slam for a near fall.

Stardust with a punch and he drops down and kicks Swagger. Swagger catches Stardust off the ropes and applies the ankle lock. Stardust taps out.

Winner: Jack Swagger

After the match, Del Rio attacks Swagger with a chair and then Titus warns Del Rio to turn around and he hits Stardust with the chair.

Del Rio goes over to Swagger and Swagger pops up and he has a chair. (I think we are going to have a match on Sunday with these two). Both men swing the chairs and Del Rio drops his chair. Swagger swings at Del Rio but Alberto runs to the back. Zeb is still at ringside and Swagger wants to know what is going on. Colter drives away.

We go to The Rosebush with Adam Rose. Adam brings up Miz mentoring Neville. He says that Neville is going to be cast in a live action remake of Dumbo. Adam mentions the return of Rhyno after last week’s return of Tommy Dreamer. Adam says that Tommy looked to be in transition to be an Oompa Loompa. However, what he thought was oil was Becky’s hair dye.

Alberto and Zeb are in the back and Alberto says they laughed at him. He tells Zeb that no one laughs at him. They laughed at him because of Zeb’s stupid scooter. Alberto tells Zeb to stay away from him because he does not need him.

Zeb tells Alberto to calm down and stop being a hot head. Zeb tells Del Rio if it wasn’t him, he would not be the United States Champion. He says he recruited Alberto to face John Cena. Alberto threatens to hit Zeb with a chair, just like he is going to do to Jack Swagger on Sunday. Zeb rides away and we go to commercial with Alberto watching. We are back and we will have a contract signing for the Intercontinental Title Match.

Tommy Dreamer (with Rhyno, D-Von Dudley, and Bubba Ray Dudley) versus Braun Strowman (with Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt, and Luke Harper)

Strowman pushes Dreamer back into the corner and Dreamer with punches. Strowman sends Dreamer into the corner when Dreamer goes for the leg. Strowman with a shoulder tackle. Strowman with a forearm to the back and he chokes Dreamer in the ropes. Strowman with punches in the corner and he sends Dreamer to the mat. Strowman with a hard Irish whip to Dreamer.

Strowman with a slam and then he works on Dreamer’s neck. Dreamer with a boot in the corner and clotheslines but Strowman stays on his feet. Dreamer with a drop kick and it has no effect. Dreamer sets for a DDT but Strowman counters and chokes Dreamer out.

Winner: Braun Strowman

After the match, we have a stare down in anticipation of the Eight Man Elimination Tables Match at TLC. The lights go out and we go to the back and Sheamus walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Roman Reigns is at ringside as he waits for Sheamus to join him in the ring surrounded by tables, ladders, and chairs. There is a single table, a single ladder, and a single chair in the ring for symbolism.

Roman says he is here for his lesson, where you at? Sheamus calls him out and Roman points out he is the only one to show up.

Roman says this ladder reminds him of his first day on the job. His first match with the Shield was a TLC match. In that match, they earned their spot. That spot was at the bottom of the ladder. Over the next three years, he climbed that ladder. As he climbed higher, he lost some friends and gained some enemies. As he got higher, he could see the promised land. At Survivor Series, he won the WWE Championship.

That only lasted five minutes and fifteen seconds. He got Brogue Kicked twice and was sent back to the bottom of the ladder.

Roman tells Sheamus he is taking back what is his at TLC. He is taking back the WWE Championship. As far as tonight goes, he is not leaving this ring until Sheamus comes out and they destroy this arena and he uses every toy in front of him.

Roman tells Sheamus to stop wasting their time and get your ass out here.

Sheamus’ music plays and he comes out. He calls Roman quite the storyteller and dreamer. Do you think you can beat him for this title? You have some imagination. Sheamus asks Roman if he is trying to intimidate him. Sheamus says sequels are in these days. TLC will end the same way as Survivor Series. He will be standing over Roman still the WWE Champion.

Sheamus says just like at Survivor Series, you will be on your hands and knees wondering how this went wrong.

Roman tells Sheamus to come into the ring if he wants to teach him a lesson.

Sheamus tells Roman he does not call the shots. He will come to the ring when he wants.

Roman says he thought the Irish loved to fight.

Sheamus moves closer to the ring but Roman says it does not look like Sheamus is going to fight. Sheamus says they will fight, but not tonight. Sheamus tells Roman to step up.

Roman tells Sheamus he is yapping. He says he thought Irishmen have potatoes but it looks like he is smuggling tater tots.

Sheamus almost gets into the ring but he stops short of the ramp made of three tables. Sheamus says he did not rush to the ring because that is what Roman does. He will not enter Roman’s booby trapped fort. On Sunday, he will build a castle and he will fill it with battered chairs, broken tables, and mangled ladders. He is going to build it right on top of you.

Roman says it sounds tough coming from the guy on the floor. Man up and show him how to do it in the ring.

Sheamus says he knows that Roman will hit him with the chair so Roman throws the chair out of the ring and he asks Tater Tots if that is okay.

Sheamus brings up the table and he knows that Roman will put him through it.

Roman says he wants to power bomb Sheamus through a table but he pushes the table to the floor.

Sheamus reminds Roman that he was not the WWE Champion for only five minutes and fifteen seconds. There is still a ladder in the ring. If you get rid of the ladder, maybe he will come in the ring and kick your head off.

Roman takes the ladder and teases throwing it at Sheamus and Sheamus flinches. Roman does throw the ladder at Sheamus but he misses.

Roman tells everyone to give Tater Tots a second because he is shivering. He flinched like a little girl. Did he have to scare you in front of these people? He asks Sheamus if he is a champion or a footnote. Roman says if you don’t get into the ring, he will run through Sheamus like a tornado and all you will have left is that stupid shirt.

Sheamus comes into the ring and Roman sends Sheamus to the floor. They go to the floor and Roman sends Sheamus into the ringside barrier. Roman adjusts the announce table and he tries to slam Sheamus’ head into the announce table but Sheamus stops him. Sheamus sends Reigns into the ringside barrier. Sheamus sends Reigns into a ladder. Sheamus clotheslines Reigns into the crowd and Reigns fights back. Reigns sends Sheamus into trash cans.

Reigns drops a trash can on top of Sheamus and he does it with a second one. Reigns sends Sheamus into another trash can. They fight by the stage and Sheamus with a European uppercut. Sheamus is sent into a table hanging by the stage. Reigns slams Sheamus’ head into the ramp. Reigns sets for a power bomb through a table on the floor but Sheamus with a back body drop. Sheamus sends Reigns into tables and chairs by the TitanTron. Sheamus hits Reigns with a chair.

Reigns throws a chair in Sheamus’ face and Reigns hits Sheamus in the back with the chair. Sheamus sends Reigns into the ringside barrier. Sheamus adjusts the monitors. Sheamus sets for a power bomb onto the table but Reigns escapes and he hits a Superman punch. Reigns sets for a spear but Sheamus side steps Reigns and Reigns goes over the table. Sheamus poses but Reigns with a spear through the tables against the ring.

Another standard episode of Raw where Sheamus is presented terribly. He took a pin in the tag match and came second best in the brawl with Reigns. I enjoy Reigns' work but this kind of booking where no-one ever gets the upper hand on him turns me off him easily given that a few weeks ago he was booked as some sort of "underdog".

Normally that would be standard booking of making Sheamus's reign look in jeopardy. Problem is Reigns is being booked like Cena recently which is NOT how you get sympathy on someone. He should have had 3 weeks of getting beat down like a government mule before making a comeback.

The buildup here hasnt actually been terrible, but Im still not overly excited for the PPV.

WWE were swerved by Vince's buddy Trump. It is hard to make anything of MexAmerica, when Donald is a Presidential candidate and is coming out with stuff like no Muslims should be allowed into the US.

The wyatt family are pointless. Again, creative seem to have no idea where to go with the gimmick, leading wyatt into pointless rivalries (which he usually loses). When he first appearedhe was a breath of fresh air, now his promos are just ramblings that i find myself not caring about. Am i right in thinking that luke harper is the only one to have held a title?? Surely that shouldnt be the case

That whole Tater Tots schtick game me the boke, it wasn't funny when he ijitially said it but I actually had no problem with it because he was talking smack and on a roll, what I absolutely hated was the fact he said it about 4 other times because the first one got a good reaction, it all felt a tad desperate as if they were thinking "what would Rock do"...if that's the route they go down with Roman then the poor guy is doomed

Someone online pointed out a line about The Rock before he got huge being a bit annoyed backstage cos he'd stuck to script during a back and forth and HHH had gone off and ripped him to shreds. Basically told that it was live tv so he can't be stopped if he fires back off script.

The funny thing is, of course, that if anyone has a safety blanket were he to go off script and f*** up then it's Reigns. The New Day have proven you can go off script if you don't screw it up, so Reigns should just go balls out and do it. He's not gonna lose.
