Post by Fernando Mon 14 Dec 2015, 8:36 am

The 2015 WWE TLC Kickoff Pre-show opens with Renee Young, Corey Graves, Booker T and Byron Saxton. We get hype for The Wyatt Family vs. the ECW Originals. Saxton predicts Team ECW will win tonight. We get more discussion on tonight's show and the WWE Intercontinental Title match. We get a backstage segment with The Usos getting each other hype until The Lucha Dragons come in. They have words until two men bring in Christmas gifts from their Secret Santas. It's a bunch of merchandise from WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. The Usos and The Lucha Dragons agree on one thing - The New Day won't leave with the titles.

- Ric Flair is backstage talking on the phone, telling someone he's here to see Charlotte style and profile all over Paige, who appears and accuses Flair of always hogging the spotlight. Flair says he has a glow around him that never leaves. Paige taunts him for the slap she delivered last Monday. Flair says she wasn't the first or last woman to slap him. Paige says she's going to give Flair the chance to finally be there for his daughter tonight when she's crying after losing her title. We go back to the panel for more discussion. We see video from earlier today where Jack Swagger says he's also fighting for Zeb Colter tonight, not just the United States Title. Swagger says every time he hits Alberto Del Rio with a steel chair, it will be for Zeb and We The People.

He says more titles are about to come and that's a promise, the United States Title is the first step. He says he's not scared of Jack Swagger because he's better in every single category. He says just being Mexican makes him better because Swagger is American. He's going to destroy Swagger tonight. He says he joined the League of Nations because they're the best wrestlers in the country and most importantly, they're not Americans. He says they're here to take titles and people will be talking about them for years to come. In regards to Zeb Colter and MexAmerica, Del Rio says it didn't work because he trusted an American. He takes his mics off and walks out of the interview.

WWE TLC Results - Yes there really was a PPV. Empty Re: WWE TLC Results - Yes there really was a PPV.

It was surprisingly a really good PPV.

The opening match, was match of the night. Some excellent spots.
Ryback vs Rusev, boring.
Swagger vs Del Rio - Decent match, shame boring del Rio won.
The Tables match was ok, shame we didn't actually see any fire, however correct result. Finally a win for the Wyatt boys.

The divas match put me to sleep.
Ambrose vs Owens was decent and good for Ambrose.

The Main event was actually pretty good, the superman punch through the table was class. Also it was fantastic to see the crowd getting behind Reigns, the way he was attacking HHH gave him a more badass side to him and the crowd were rightfully cheering that. None of this goofy smile nonsense.

Last night might just finally be the time that Roman Reigns can be accepted at that level, pure badass, thats exactly why fans popped for him in The Shield and at TLC they finally got back to basics with him, 10 minutes after the end of his match did more for him than the 18 months beforehand.

Kalisto and Jimmy Uso took the absolute sickest intentional bump I think I've ever seen, its up there with Foley's leap off the cage in 98, these guys deserve a major spot in WWE, anyone whos willing to do that are guys you know will do whatever it takes, I genuinely panicked, when Wrestlers have you panicking you know something mental has just happened.

My expectation was at zero for this one but must admit I really enjoyed it.

That Kalisto spot was absolutely mental.

You're right, Roman just being intense and mad got him over. The fans actually popped for that spear at the end. And those were fans who were trying to Poopie on the match. Shame he smiled at the end though, much prefer when he sticks to angry Reigns.

I think the fans unintentionally helped them have a good match, they were Poopie on it from the start and to me it looked like it just inspired Sheamus and Reigns, no matter where both go from here I think they'll have proved beyond doubt to Vince that they can bring it, that type of performance under those circumstances can make you a made man for life in WWE

Did... did Reigns just get over?

Typical fair from WWE at this point, an overall 7.5* PPV based on the matches but the story telling is still poor.

Dont know why they gave the spot of the night away in the first match, but it was incredible. Huge kudos to both Kalisto and Jimmy. It was a fun match although I think New Day need to lose the titles again soon. They're already over as hell and dont need the titles, but I dont see any reason why they cant be 3-4-5 time tag champs.

Fast forwarded through Rusev vs Ryback as I had no interest whatsoever.

The chairs match was decent enough but I think a Patriot Lock with a chair should be an insta-tap. Weakens the move a great deal.

The tables match was all I wanted it to be apart from the Chekhovs Gun with the flaming table. The right result with although I think they could have done with a whitewash. Rowan needs help right now and being the only one eliminated doesnt do that. Big Fat Sam Tarly looked like a beast after several big beatings.

Kinda mixed over the IC result. Its great for Ambrose because he's the No.2 face in the company and deserves a title, but where does Owens go from here?

Shame they cant get Charlotte over without using Ric even though they managed it in NXT. Did the double turn happen? Seems odd that just a few weeks ago Paige was taking a dig at Reid Flair and now shes a face? REVOLUTION!

The main event was decent and was what it was. It was always going to be two big guys knocking lumps out of each other. The end was the best thing they could have done for Reigns.

Everything achieved last night can be undone quickly and easily tonight in regards to Reigns.

I also hope they may have moved Owens from the belt because hes on to bigger things.

Has Roman Reigns arrived? I hope so. He was excellent. But...and I hate to be a little critical in a time when it's very easy to be so...it came over slightly heelish. That's no criticism of Reigns, moreso of the annoying flip-flopping of the authority from heel to face to heel.

Anyway, I hope they capitalise. Keep Reigns off Raw till the very end, build expectation. And keep him off the mic.

I actually think Sheamus is a good opponent for Reigns, Just brawl for all batter the sh*t out of you suits Roman down to the ground.

Raw comes live from Philadelphia tonight i believe.

Shall be an interesting show.

Just started watching RAW and based on the reaction Reigns is getting now compared to the last time they were in Philly it seems he finally might have gotten over, they need to keep the momentum going now.
