Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Toulouse 22-28 Quins
Quins will get some dominance up front especially in the back row. Flood at 13 is odd for Toulouse and think the Quins backline will get the important scores for a good win.
Toulouse 18 - 26 Harlequins
Quins take the set piece with a strong front 5, Kruis and Romano a really amazing pairing in all aspects. Toulouse have some good players in backrow but Quins stronger, with Hooper and Clifford very complementary in covering carrying and the whole unit excellent at the breakdown. More control at 9-10 for Quins and with solid backs vs Flood out of position, Quins win
Toulouse 20-20 Harlequins
Tough place to go but Quins have come into this one well set out. I can see the packs being close but not sure Quins have enough in the halfbacks or centres to come away with the win. Tough fought out draw.
Toulouse 23 - 25 Harlequins
Toulouse v Harlequins. 21-22
Toulouse 20-30 Quins
A rotated Toulouse side who haven't taken this comp as seriously this year. Feel Quins can actually sneak the tbp.
Toulouse 20 - 25 Quins
Toulouse 21 - 27 Harlequins
Toulouse take this more seriously than most of the French sides, and will be up for it, but Quins have got plenty of first choice forwards on the pitch, and I'd expect them to control the game from there. Plenty in hand in the backs too, and even if not the bonus point, a fairly comfortable win on the road

Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Clermont 25-25 Sarries
Sarries can get on top in the pack with a solid front row on show. Closer at half back and feel Clermont can get more gains out wide. Good impact from Sarries on the bench I think will bring them a draw away from home.
Clermont 24 - 23 Saracens
ASM 24- 22 Saracens
Clermont not as invincible as they once were. Saracens can compete at the scrum, edge the lineout and even at the backrow. Clermont have more quality at halfback though and similar skill set (other way around) but with more quality at centre. Close at the back 3 and close overall but ASM hold on at home
Clermont Auvergne 24 - 23 Saracens
ASM Clermont Auvergne v Saracens. 17-16
Clermont 24-22 Saracens
Far from a first choice front 5 for the french side but they edge the backrow slightly, have more about the backs overall and are at home.
Clermont 28 - 28 Sarries
Clermont 24 - 22 Saracens
On the road in Clermont is very difficult for any side, and I don't think Sarries have the quality in the pack to be able to get on top of the Clermont 8. Its going to be very even up front, and I think the Clermont backs are better overall. Sarries will go close, but not quite enough away from home.

Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Tigers 27-20 Ospreys
Apart from some key performers for Ospreys, Tigers have more to give in this game and the bench will pull them away.
Leicester 23 - 22 Ospreys
Tigers 25 - 21 Ospreys
Ospreys in good form. Tigers have the edge at the scrum and maybe even at the lineout. Ospreys back row good at breakdown and all playing well right now, but Tigers have experience and more power in Palu and match them. Close at 10, Biggar im great form but FTD had a great cameo vs Quins and has a better SH for me. More stardust in Leicester back 3 and more secure centres and they get a good win
Leicester 19-17 Ospreys
Leicester will get on top in the front 5 but there's some form issues in the backrow that could give them some issues against a firing O's unit. Halfbacks to O's but Tigers just have enough in the backline to come through.
Leicester Tigers v Ospreys. 26-25
Tigers 19-16 Ospreys
Extra power of the Tigers side around the park sees them through this one
Tigers 18 - 15 Ospreys
Leicester 29-20 Ospreys
The Welsh side have a few good players in their pack, but Leicester as a unit are far stronger, and will really put them under a lot of pressure. Not a lot between the backlines, but Leicester have a good deal more impact off the bench. Would expect it to be close up to about 60 mins, then Leicester will ease away to a home win

Scarlets 20-26 Irish
Scarlets are showing well in the pro 12 and their front row will not give Irish much joy back row closer however Irish haven't named a 7 so I will drop a man off their bench to replace this. Better half back combo for Irish and outwide Irish can cause Scarlets enough problems.
Scarlets 18 - 19 Irish
Scarlets 17 - 26 London Irish
London Irish ahead at the set piece. Not sure why Fluxy hasn't put up Ouedraogo, assuming he's playing Irish win the breakdown and carrying vs a weakened Scarlets back row. Davies good but Smith world class 9 with Slade injured but well suited to playing outside Smith's style of quick passing. Good centres with solid 12 and attacking 13 plus top class attacking back 3 and it's easy enough for Irish
Scarlets 17-27 Irish
Bit of routine win for Irish even without a 7 lol. Good looking backline and a good pack bar probably Moon, they'll take home the win with a bit to spare.
Scarlets 21 - 29 London Irish
Scarlets v London Irish 39-40
Scarlets 24-30 Irish
Can see Irish (with Quedragao at 7) getting on top in the backrow and giving their halfbacks a great platform
Scarlets 20 - 31 Irish
Scarlets 16 - 30 London Irish
Irish lining up with two captains and no 7 (!), but overall they have far too much quality throughout the side against a game but limited Scarlets team. Welsh regional sides really struggle against our teams, and its no different here. Comprehensive win

Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Stade 20-25 Saints
Not a lot between the two teams really with Stade getting solid set piece ball but Saints able to be solid in defence and have good creativity. It's the highly impressive Saints bench that get's them a great win.
Stade 25 - 26 Saints
Stade 20 - 30 Saints
With his real life form, Mako vs Slimani very interesting. Hard to call scrum but if AJ hits his men, lineout is strong and can attack Stade's throws and the breakdown should go to Saints too. Great carrying and hard hits throughout pack really give Saints edge at the gain line. This plus quick ball allows Simpson and Giteau time and space and they will thrive, feeding the 5 exceptional attackers outside and the combo of yhis plus the carrying power means I think, away in France or not, Sainys get the TBP
Stade 22-23 Northampton
Certainly one of the tougher games of the week with Stade a force at home. Saints a shade stronger bar front row and halfback and will sneak a good win away.
Stade Francais 19 - 25 Northampton Saints
Stade Francais Paris v Northampton Saints 16-17
Stade 20-26 Saints
Great pack battle but the Saints halfbacks can do more with the ball in hand
Stade Francais 22 - 29 Saints
Stade 20 - 26 Saints
Stade a decent side, but Saints are the best Euro team, and the quality throughout the side shows. Not much to add, really like the look of Chris's backline on current form

Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Sharks 24-20 Toulon
Sharks take the front 5 and the back row battle is a bit closer. Half backs go one a piece with the centres a great battle, out wide we have top quality on both sides. The Sale bench is actually better impact than Toulon and they will do the required job to get over the line.
Sale 27 - 26 Toulon
Sale 26 - 21 Toulon
For all their strength, Toulon are not great in front row and Sale have clear scrum advantage. They also have a strong and I think superior lineout, and compete at the backrow despite the galaticcos- they'll at least match the breakdown but lose out on carrying. Outside, they have the better halfbacks (in both positions) and can almost match the Toulon's centres for power with 2 great finishers and close at fullback. I don't see where Toulon can get an advantage and so Sale win comfortably
Sale 21-19 Toulon
Bit of an epic one this week. Strong outfit from Sale and they can just sneak it. Toulon a little hit and miss really helps Sale get an edge and they can take home that advantage late in the game.
Sale Sharks 26 - 24 RC Toulon
Sale Sharks v RC Toulon 18-17
Sale Sharks 25 - 22 Toulon
Sale 23 - 17 Toulon
Sale one of the few sides that can match Toulon for power and dynamism in the pack, and it turns out that way here. Toulon's front 5 looks weak given the resources and the sides we've seen in the past, and I'd expect Sale to dominate the set piece and build from there. Back row and backs pretty even, but the front 5 platform gives a comfortable win

Re: Champions Cup Round Six
Bath 27 - 26 Leinster
Bath 27 -20 Leinster
I think Bath can take the honours at the scrum and have picked a very able lineout and will cause Leinster problems all day here. They also have more quality in the backrow, especially with a lot of pace and mobility and athleticism there. Leinsyer edge the halfbacks, with very close contest in the back 3 (if Wade were fit, Bath would win it). Leinster centres hyped up, but think the efficiency of the young Bath pairing will make them work well together and show up their opponents.
Bath 20-20 Leinster
If Bath could upgrade on a few EQ they'd have took the win with margins to spare. As it is, Wilson Gaskell and Ewels are just not quite at this level and hold them back a bit.
Bath 22 - 19 Leinster Rugby
Bath v Leinster Rugby 32-31
Bath 24-23 Leinster
This Leinster side were pretty impressive last week and give Bath a good go of it especially with great impact late on
Bath 21 - 19 Leinster
Bath 24-20 Leinster
Bath pack has enough to get on top of a weakened Leinster side, with players like Ruddock out of position. Pretty even in the backs, but at home Bath pretty comfortable

Sorry Driver, not that it affected you result, but don't know what happened with Ouedragao!
