Worst Decisions You Witnessed Live
First topic message reminder :
Probably been done to death but there is a couple which spring to mind was Santa Cruz v Casamayor on the Cotto v Mosley undercard. I dont know if anyone has seen this but I havent got clue how Casa even got close to getting the nod. Horrendous decision!
Also in recently memory McDermott v Fury. Fight was quite easy to score and had it 97-93 McDeromott, How Terry O'Connor seen it 98-92 the other way only Flip knows. But I do think he was having flash backs seeing Johns dad in the cornor! Althought there was only one Judging the fight as opposed to 3.
Anymore?

I'm not listening, still haven't forgiven you for your nasty "LOL shut up you clown" response the other night, Scotty-boy!

Re: Worst Decisions You Witnessed Live
The first Lewis Holyfield fight was a traversty of justice. I blamed the British judge, as he scored it even. The second fight I could have lived with a draw as it was much closer but I think they gave it to Lewis for robbing him the first time they met.

I had Benn beating Eubank when he got the draw, although I gave him their first fight as well, even though he was stopped so I may be a little biased!

Re: Worst Decisions You Witnessed Live
Lewis v Holyfield 1 is it for me. Lewis landed over double the punches Holy did, and the judge who scored it for holyfield said she saw holyfield land more punches.
Even gave the 5th to Holyfield despite being outlanded 4 to 1 and being rocked. She said it was because of the angle she was at, only saw Lewis' back in that round. Which is one of many reasons i think it should be scored from a booth with the advantage of having TV.

Bika vs Ward, i think two judges had it 120-108, one had it 118-110. I had it a Draw at most 115-113 for Ward

Toney v Griffin 1 & 2 were very poor decisions, as was Toney v McCallum 1, and his first fight against Peters.

True. That was a close fight.
There was a fight a few years back, in Japan I think, where two judges had it 120 - 108 and the other 108 -120.

Re: Worst Decisions You Witnessed Live
I remember being dumb founded when the score card of the Ainscough/Reed fight was announced at the recent SM prizefighter. I think it was Ian John-Lewis scored it 30-28 for Ainscough even though he had a count in the final round. Highly bizzare.

Not quite 120-108 / 108-120 but this one can only be described as a wide SD...

Ah yeah, remember that one, Mijares used to be one of my favourite boxers. Still need the holy grail of 120-108, 114-114, 108-120.

Re: Worst Decisions You Witnessed Live
My worst was Brodie - Jorrin. How two judges scored it 116-112 & 115-112 for Jorrin is beyond me. It should have been the other way round. Have to admit I did cheer a little when Larios obliterated Jorrin in 1 in their rematch after another "gift" in their first fight...
