Anyone got this yet?
Started on it last night, very much feels like Destiny but in New York, enjoyed Destiny for all of two weeks and then got bored so hoping this doesn't go the same way.

I had a go at this last night with a few mates and enjoyed it.

Here's hoping they refresh content quicker than Destiny did!

Had a go last night in the Dark Zone, geez that's hard, managed to take out a few NPCs that were a few levels higher than me but it's then impossible to get back to either the base with your loot or to an extraction point. Worse still is when a PC walks into your shooting line and you then accidentally go rogue.

Did you try the dark zone on your own Hero?

I tried it with some mates last night and we did pretty well. If you get a squad of four of you, it's very balanced. We got some good loot and took out a few rogues too.

Yep was trying it by myself, was lvl 9 when I went in so probably a bit on the low side to start it, was doing okay v lvl 10s and occasionally the 12s, they just didn't seem to stop whenever I got a few blue loots and ended up losing them.

Managed to do a lot better in the dark zone last night as paired up with a random guy, got 6 rares to the extraction point though so many times we were suddenly swarmed with a few seconds to go until the copter came.

It's pretty exciting though, isn't it? Some of the enemies are genuinely tough and you have to team up with strangers that could stab you in the back at any moment.

Yeah there were a couple of times we got wiped and it was a dash back to where our loot was hoping it was still there and that we didn't nab the others.

How's everyone else doing now?
Seem to have found I'm better using the sniper based guns, tend to have the turret as one of my skills and the scanner that gives me a bonus to damage. Currently I'm lvl 17.

As much as I love this game, the one thing that really annoys me is when some idiot runs in front of you while shooting in the dark zone. As soon as that happens you go rogue because of their stupidity.

I've had people intentionally do it now as well.

I'm up to level 30. Doing the missions on hard mode is decent fun and challenge mode is seriously hard!

Bought my first purple last night, pair of gloves that add a whopping marksman damage.
Was in the dark zone and there were two guys in there on mics nearby, was funny listening to them panicking over losing loot etc and other people being around, they were scared sh**less of getting oneshotted by me.

Have you seen the video where a bloke rumbles about 10 guys waiting for a chopper to extract their loot? He chucks in a grenade and hits them all with a sticky bomb. Kills all of them, runs in takes all their loot and extracts it all before the chopper leaves!

Seen a few of them with 4-5 and they then run off but not with 10 and an extract!

I've seen that video, just downs everyone with his explosives then reaps the rewards. Complete kumquat but still.

Sticky bomb builds seem the way Pvp wise, really not honed my character as I'm levelling, is this something you did Prawn or did you just level up with gear you found?

I just leveled with the gear I found. Have only been in the dark zone once.

Tip: Get selling your weapons now, don't deconstruct them. The crafting system is a bit rubbish at the mo, and once you upgrade your base of operations so that you have the special item vendor, there are some amazing but very expensive items for sale there.

I just bought myself a golden LMG with ridiculous perks for around 480k credits.

Nice, I'm just starting to upgrade from blues to purples, got two so far which I've bought, when should I start to see them drop from npcs?

Around the high 20s, don't bother buying them.

You'll just outgrow them as you level up and it will have been a waste. Save your credits

Got my first purple drop the other night in the Dark Zone, they drop earlier there as I'm only lvl 20 (both in normal and in the dark zone levels), tried sticky bombing a few people waiting for an extraction but got toasted, they weren't best pleased with me when I went back there!

Dark Zone is extremely tough if you're playing alone!

Level 30 now in the Dark Zone, allows you grab loads of purples from the chests in the contaminated areas.
