Does it seem strange that for Scarlets v Munster; the referee, TMO and touch judge are all Munster referees. Similarly for Bath v Montpellier; the referee, TMO and touch judge are all Leinster referees.

Why leave yourself open to accusations of bias.

Let's assume that those refs are not entirely impartial for a minute (I know it's a big ask but try to imagine it) who would they favour? Northampton, because they have already lost a game, or the Scarlets so they don't have to beat Northampton away? Not very likely either way is it. But what about doing whatever they could to ensure that neither side scored 4 tries? Let the breakdown and scrum be a mess and it becomes a borefest. Now that would suit Munster. So yes, why do they do it?
