Short promo up fellas. It's so good to see so many promo's going into the shows, wish I could contribute more promos but I just recently got my first job after university and it's taken up a lot of my time. Will always find time to stick up at least one though.

No it was outside,. I'm running a marathon in 4 weeks, but that was my first training run in about 3 weeks.
I would build up to it, as its more the hurt innlegs than tiredness that i find is the problem.
You should have a look for Parkrun in your area, its a free 5k run on a weekend morning, you register and the print off a number thing and they time you for free so gives you sometjing to try to beat each time.

I would also say if you are quite competitive(which i get the feeling you are) its better to run with someone.
I run about a mile about a minute quicker on average when i run with someone with trying an harder

That's all we can ask man, I think a lot of people worry they aren't doing enough and end up walking away from it when really a promo here and there is enough as long as you're enjoying it...congrats on the job btw!
And Nay I'd love to run a marathon one day but right now a 5K in one go could be a challenge...I'm thinking of having one day a week where I run a 5k and then after a while bump it up to a bigger distances.
I tend to stay away from training with people though, I have friends who go to my gym and they go together and I see them 75% of the time sat around talking...the other day my mate came up to me mid bench press asking how I was...it wasn't appreciated haha

I was with my daughter. When asked what her favourite animal was and why, she said "Cow - because he knows what he's doing"
Which still has me flummoxed
I can't wait for the show Monday - getting excited now!

Very quiet couple of days that. We are all Dundee United fans after all.
Good bank holiday thanks. Is CM Funk still in your promo? I'm going to go find out
Quite fancy Payback but probably won't watch it.

Cheers mate - appreciate that.
It was a decent bank holiday. Spent some quality time with my daughter which is always fun. Had a decent Acca come in yesterday so got a nice relaxing month ahead financially (I.e. More takeaways ). And the weather has been lovely. Yourself?
No worries Lex.

Cricket was rained off Saturday so instead I got depressed watching Norwich be rubbish
Today went to see my grandparents for lunch which was nice until my brother brought up the EU referendum and my grandad got quite racist

As some of you know I'm a care worker and tonight an old man rang his alarm just to tell me how the w**s ruined this country...half an hour of explaining why we'd be better off like the old days when people had real names like William and Steve and not Muhammed or Raj.

Yep, pretty much...you kind of just have to sit there and listen because telling a resident to shut up isn't something you're allowed to do...the furthest I stepped over the line was this:
There's a guy who likes his hair combed over to the side and he ALWAYS says "a bit like that Adolf Hitler"...every single day he makes the same reference. One day we were talking about football and I asked him which side he played and to my joy he set me up by saying he played on the left to which I replied "with all this Hitler talk, I would have assumed you were on the right wing". He paused for a moment before bursting out laughing to the point I had to give him oxygen...that could have gone the wrong way though and he could have reported me.
Worth it though, in my opinion.

My old job was 75% challenging because of the individuals we cared for who were suffering from end stages of dementia but this one is less stressful as it's more a retirement home.

Once you've had a real decent steak it ruins everything else in the future. I went to a steakhouse in St Albans about a month ago - cost a small fortune - but the steak was probably the best meat I've ever eaten. It's ruined all steaks forever.
