$1,000 for a driver? Empty $1,000 for a driver?

Titleist are releasing a new range of clubs - C16 - with some eye watering prices. $1,100 for a driver and irons are $375 each. How popular will these clubs be? How much would you pay for shiny new clubs?

Sounds like they're designed for rich, useless golfers. Should sell well I would imagine, there's plenty about.

I dare say they'll shift the thousand sets quite easily, but it's way beyond what I would pay. Although, should I become a multi millionaire overnight, then why the hell not. Might as well miss greens with a $375 9-iron rather than my cheaper one.

The driver looks ok but the irons are what super might call plumpers.
