women's tennis
Has the fact that two non-grunting 3 dimensional players just played the final today heralded the end of "the grunting let's hit the ball back as hard as we can brainless tennis" that's dominated of late?
The Willliams sisters and Clijsters aside the lack of imagination at the top has really been highlighted. Schiavone may have lost but at least she had a plan B and made Li Na have to win it by using her brain.
I really hope this is a wake up call for some of those tennis androids out there (no names required!)
