Manchester Utd v Liaoning Whowin

Result
Man Utd 4 - 3 Liaoning Whowin
Robben, Sanchez, Vardy x2 - Payet, Pogba, Aguero
An odd one this week with both sides playing a counter attacking game, to me I see this playing out as neither side for periods doing anything and then suddenly the game explodes as one overexposes themselves and it’s a frantic 10 minutes from either side before it settles down again and the process repeats itself. Trebs for me doesn’t give his team the credit they deserve with a counter attacking style, they could have controlled the centre against an ageing core of Viva’s team and combined with the frailties of his defence then Viva gets the win as Tierney is badly out of his depth against Robben. Slightly disappointed Viva didn’t play Ibra, him v Pepe sounded a fun battle. I see it being a high scoring game when both sides are having their bursts as both sides are particularly top heavy whilst weak defensively.

Ebbsfleet 2 – 2 Chesham Utd
Pjanic, Costa – Reus, Suarez
With Nando’s back line staying back to combat the speed abuse threat of Aubameyang, and Bam having his attack trio pushing back then it leaves a lot of space in the middle of the park so whilst Nando is wanting to fill up the middle of the pitch I feel there’s going to be quite a bit of room for him to do his stuff, the same though can also be said for Nando’s midfield who themselves are quite tidy.
For both sides I see a fair bit of nullifying to counter each other, the Chiellini/Suarez rematch is one in particular that on paper is an impossible one to call especially with Bam’s tactics of trying to wind him up. Where I do see chances being created for both sides is on the flanks, Di Maria & Costa > Hector & Gaspar whilst Firmino & Reus > Clyne & Sandro and therefore both sides threaten when running at the back line. With Bam though playing the higher line Nando’s attack get more opportunities to run at their defence so it nudges towards Nando’s team and he’d get the win if it wasn’t for the extra words.

- Manchester Utd v Liaoning Whowin
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Reina
Lahm Laporte Zouma Maxwell
Alonso Motta
Robben Eriksen Sanchez
Vardy
Subs
Varela
Terry
Ben Arfa
Ibrahimovic
Injuries
Iker Casillas
Hector Bellerin
N'Golo Kante
Tactics
With the pace of my attack I've gone with a counter attack system, get the ball forward as quick as we can and expose the gaps they leave behind. FB to jockey man and force him into a mistake, CB to mark zonally, Laporte look to spring a long ball to hit them on counter. CM screen the defenders, block of passing angles and space. Alonso switch ball to either Sanchez/Robben so they can run and attack the space, Eriksen slip balls in for Vardy to run in behind their defence, drop deep if CM need help.
SUB 70 MIN
Robben off Ben Arfa on (Fresh legs)
SUB 75 MIN IF LOSING
Motta off Ibrahimovic on (We'll go more attacking)
Alonso
Ben Arfa Eriksen Sanchez
Vardy Ibrahimovic

Alex Telles
SUBSITUTIONS
If winning - El Ghazi for Schurrle. Straight swap and fresh legs.
If losing - Iheanacho and El Ghazi for Tierney and Lemina, 4-4-2 with Schurrle as LB.
TACTICS (100 words)
Get the ball forward quickly this week, play with pace and look at the counter attack. Defend deep if Vardy and Robben are playing as we expect, to negate their pace. Pepe to be up against Ibrahimovic.
Lemina drop deep and protect the defense while Verratti is the conductor, playing a range of passes and looking to get it forward, occasional balls over the top. Focus our attacks at Maxwell/Varela at full back with Schurrle/Payet starting from wide positions but coming inside. Pogba to get forward in a box to box role and Aguero to look for space in behind.

Man Utd 4 - 3 Liaoning Whowin

Ebbsfleet v Chesham Utd
- Ebbsfleet tactics:
- Injuries - Thiago, Morgan, Mor
---------------------Adrian
Clyne-------Alderweireld---------Chiellini---Sandro
---------------------Elneny-------------------
-------------Pjanic---------Niguez
Di Maria--------Aubameyang-------Douglas Costa
Subs: Speroni, Bailly, Reid, , Lingard, Rashford
Defensive tactics
Clyne and Sandro mark wingers, Elneny pick up Firmino if central, if not cover Reus
Chiellini get tight to Suarez, rough him up, make him bite you, Alderweireld cover
Pjanic/Niguez track midfield runs
Attacking
Play for counter, Elneny sit deep/ cover, Pjanic/Niguez get ball quickly forwards, dictate play with passing/movement, only one of you to go forward
Costa/Di Maria/Aubameyang stay forward, push them back, prevent them overloading midfield
Aubameyang constantly make runs in behind, attack near post from crosses
FB marking Reus to stay back, other to support attack
Di Maria/Costa swap to attack RB
Subs
Winning - Rashford/Morgan for Di Maria/Costa - 3-5-2 with Clyne/Sandro wingbacks
Losing at 70 - Lingard/Rashford/Morgan on for Elneny/Sandro/Clyne - all out attack with 2 strikers, 2 wingers, 3 creative midfielders

- Chesham tactics:
- ------------------Burki
Gaspar --- Silva (C) --- Stones -- Hector
------------------Xhaka
--------Gundogan ----Aranguiz
---Firmino -----------------------Reus
------------------Suarez
Subs - Lopez,Masina,Umtiti,Didavi,Orellana,Paloschi,Meier
Corners - Xhaka
Free Kicks - Firmino & Reus
Pens - Suarez
Team Talk - Up against Bam who has a very solid side shall look to get at them down the wings as both are attacking full backs. Shall fill the middle to seal it up and keep it tight so Pjanic can't create.
Tactics
- The defense to sit deep to negate Aubameyang's pace, Silva to get tight on him, Stones to Cover him
- Gaspar and Hector tuck in, force wingers down the line as both cut inside, get up pitch and cross
- Xhaka to sit infront of the defense and put tackles in
- Gundogan to go box to box and put pressure on Pjanic
- Aranguiz to link up the play between the midfield 3
- Firmino to tuck in off right wing and create
- Reus to run Clyne to get shots & crosses in
- Suarez look to run off in behind Alderweireld and finish clinically
Subs - If winning with 5 to go Umtiti on for Firmino go 5-3-2
If losing - Didavi for Aranguiz - go 4-3-3 with him at AM
Result
Ebbsfleet 2 – 2 Chesham Utd

Great work Hero, can I ask you a question via PM?
Good job I didn't sell you Robben eh Nando. Scores a goal, has the opposition writing tactics against him and even gets a positive mention from the voter.

Re: Week 4 Results
I meant your attack was rather than your defense sorry, you'd stated your attack would stay up so I pictured it that they wouldn't get as many opportunities to run at the back line whilst Firmino and Reus would, given the space in the centre.
