Light on the moderation did I hear, well hold the Cialis Alice, I already got a chubby
I guess I am late on the ball but I haven't checked on to the site in a couple of weeks and I have read that we are going to a more open and tolerant outlook towards banter and humor. Well if that is still the case I am all for it. I did for awhile have some fun on another site that will go name less. However, I have always believed in freedom to express one's views as opposed to over regulation and therefore would be happy to talk tennis once again. I will say that it did my ego no good when on a site with a huge number of members it took all of four posts for me to be noticed by one of my online fans:"What are you doing here?" The fellow was quite overwhelmed by legendary eminence and was quite insulting so I had to respond:"You recognized and remembered my posts on another site and are quoting my crazy theories to me, but I do have to say that no sentient being on the planet ever remembers anything you have ever written." Thus I was made aware that the legend of Socal precedes me on the interwebs by online fans everywhere.
That being said I of course prefer the deeper more intellectual commentary on this site and will for certain enjoy Wimbeldon with you all again, and I would like to thank the management for their wise decision to realize in life sometimes less is more. So hello to all and just in time Wimbeldon.

Yes, Laverfan, I was sad that the management did not accept my suggestion where all other moderators would be fired and I would be appointed as your moderator in chief with dictatorial powers and where all posters would have to address me as "your excellency". But in regards to the decision that was made I must say I thoroughly approve. I am most happy that Julius' rain of errors has ended his reign of error. As another famous thespian of the 19th century stated:"Sic semper tyrannis"

Very good socal. As you know, I was very light-handed with my modding except when you got out of control and your chubby exploded.
I was going to welcome you back sooner, but got trampled in the rush.

Hey, hey now this is a family website Julius. I know you were actually great that is where the irony comes from. Nice to be back and in time for Wimbeldon and hopefully another successful slam for Novak.

Thank you Laverfan, it did sound familiar but years of binge drinking have purged that one from my mind. I love throwing out an odd latin quote here and there to other people who don't know it, then they think you are really smart. I also like:"Vini, Vidi, Vici"( I came, I saw, I conquered) boy even I have to say that Julius Caesar had a little bit of an ego.

I like to say "No-one speaks Latin anymore, ergo it is a dead language."

Welcome back.
Surely it's now time to dump Screech - he's become way too mainstream for you - he could engender as much hate as Fed if you put your heart into it

No screech is playing some incredible stuff despite the attempts of some to paint his game as boring. Right now is the nectar as for as long suffering Djokovic fans are concerned. He teased us in 08 and then went on a lengthy serving and fitness slump for almost 3 years. Then even after 2011 Nadal came roaring back in 2012 and 2013. So all the years he has played as the best or nearly the best is paying off for him and his fans now. There is very little chance I will ever have the fervor for dumping on Djokovic that I have for Fed. I know he isn't a bad guy and he is an amazing player but for some reason I get as giddy as a school girl every time he shakes hands with the umpire first.
