Ross has been superb Notch and MOTM as I type this. Herring's little blip today is just that, a blip. He's a quality player who's had a tough day at the office on this occasion.

I've always though Dean Budd was one of the unsung heroes of the Pro12. Treviso have had plenty of very poor games over the years but you rarely see him having a bad individual game himself.

Interesting to see Olding at 10- Schmidt might consider him an alternative to Madigan as our first utility back on the bench.

I actually feel sorry for Treviso not getting that try. They've thrown everything at us but they've been far from clinical in our 22. Had they just made that last pass stick or held the ball in the tackle a few times the scoreline could be completely different

It looks Herrings yellow card might be the difference between a win and a TBP win unfortunately.

This will be a good result though. Looking at how Treviso played in the first half I can see a lot of good teams really having a hard time over here.

That was the moment we should have wrapped up the bonus point.

Still, a good win with loads of room for improvement. As frustrating as it will be to get 4 points not 5 I'm pretty happy all things considered. What is especially pleasing is that the team did not panic when things weren't going well in the first half.

Gusher is annoying me more than usual today. Can he not just a) pay attention and b) get his glasses prescription updated.
Painfully embarrassing.

Thats a good try for Treviso- you know what, fair play to them. They deserve that.

Good to get the win on the road. Right. Time for me to go the pub. Later 'gtors.

I didn't really expect a bonus point win, but disappointed now that as it was on. Still, a win is a win. Treviso looking really good in parts. Hopefully they continue to improve and beat a few of our competitors.

Hahaha. Yea! But also, his inability to even admit that Treviso were sometimes on the receiving end of harsh calls annoys me too.

The whole 'the Italian fans seem annoyed but the referee has decided!' versus 'thats a disgraceful decision' does annoy me.

Making fair and neutral comments about the reffereeing should be key in sports broadcasting.

Not playing well on the road? Well that's our ongoing problem but doing that and getting the win will do well Smile

These games away to Italy always seem to be very scrappy affairs - is the heat a big factor?

Disappointed not to get the BP.
