The 72 Show with FC United reserve and academy manager Rhodri Giggs

The 72 Show is back. Host Anthony Kendrick joined by Nick Davie and Richard 'Hero' Hudson. The guest is Rhodri Giggs, who was the former player-manager of Salford City and is currently the reserve and academy manager at FC United. We discuss the two clubs, along with how Rhodri getting into football and the effects of being compared with brother Ryan Giggs.
The Championship promotion race introduces our Football League review. Can Huddersfield sustain their excellent early season form? And are Newcastle really coming into their stride and able to walk the league as we predicted. Aston Villa are also in the reckoning and Nick's beloved Brighton are in mid-table, following their first home loss since New Year's Day.
League One sees us talk about Scunthorpe, who beat Southend 4-0 at the weekend. Northampton have also continued their incredible unbeaten run, stretching to 31 games. Coventry and Rochdale both drew their games to stay at the botom of the table, both without a win this season. We also look at the controversy surrounding the Bristol Rovers vs Swindon re-arranged match. The game was postponed due to heavy rain, but the fans are being charged £25 to watch the rematch. Is this acceptable?
League Two sees Plymouth and Portsmouth on four and five game winning streaks respectively. They are now in the top two places after stuttering starts. Luton dropped to third with their first loss of the season. We look at Blackpool, who have dropped from being a Premier League side to a League Two side. Can they drop any further?
In our debate of the week, we compare English football with European football. This is based off two comments. Firstly, Walter Zenga said that Wolves are the biggest English club in Italy. The main debate comes from comments from Huddersfield manager David Wagner, claiming that the controversial tackle from Aaron Mooy is a red card in Germany, but in England it isn't. Is English football different to that of Europe?
