Re: WWE Clash Of Champions Results
I actually forgot about this PPV until i woke up today.
Watched it and in all fairness it was really good.
Reigns vs Rusev was my match of the night.

Re: WWE Clash Of Champions Results
I thought it was decent but pretty forgettable.
I cant WAIT for a TENTH singles match between Cesaro and Sheamus since the split. The match was very good but I'd rather then end it now. Spare the injury angle and have it end on a double count out before Foley comes out and restarts it. I can see this going to Hell in a Cell - possibly even in the cell itself.
Too much outside interference I thought. I also thought the main event was a muddy blur. Plodded on for the first half, started to pick up then Jericho comes out. Expected more from these two.
Reigns vs Rusev was good but I dont think Reigns winning clean is the right move, not yet. I would have DQ'd Rusev after Lana pulls the ref out the ring to get the heat back on Rusev (even though he's the face in this feud).
Sasha could have been pinned instead of Bayley. Could have used Sashas back or ribs as an out and save Bayley from taking a clean pin.
Where do Gallows and Anderson go from here? And who's going to lose to New Day for the next couple of months? Enzo and Cass and Shining Stars respectively? Meh.
Some pretty sick spots in the cruiserweight match, especially that hurricarana to the outside. Kendrick cementing his heel status at the end is good booking although this match still felt like it was holding back. Props to WWE for changing the ropes just for this match, dedication to the cause.
It was a solid 6/10 PPV. Nothing major to complain about but I'll have forgotten all about it soon, not as good as Backlash.

Sounds a bit odd and i don't know how it would work, but i'd love JeriKO to win the titles.
Raw tag team division is actually very weak.

Re: WWE Clash Of Champions Results
Very good show - particularly the last 3 matches. Agree with above - Reigns vs Rusev was match of the night, closely followed by the Women's Title match. I think Charlotte is the best champion in the company (maybe a bit unfair to Miz)
The cruiser weight match felt like a few good spots in amongst an incredibly messy match. Though Kendrick made a good charachter for himself
Jericho calling Owens his "best friend" cracks me up every time
Think Backlash was better though. 1-0 Smackdown

Re: WWE Clash Of Champions Results
I really enjoyed the show, these early brand specific PPVs will be a bit hit and miss until the brands are fully established, it's early days, they're still finding their feet but it was a good show, felt it all tied in, I think the main event was decent, it all felt a bit too predictable though, I think we all knew Rollins was going to get screwed in some capacity so it was all about how that happened, I've got no real issue with Jericho interfering, give me Y2J in every segment right now, drink it in man...also on Jericho, I initially felt Sami would go over him so he could move onto a feud with Owens but this holy alliance between Jericho and Owens can't last so I think we'll see Jericho included into the Title mix soon.
Reigns/Rusev was excellent, probably my match of the night, pleasently surprised what they're doing with Reigns, it's absolutely needed and would've been better to happen 2 years ago but better late than never, If Reigns can have the same kinda US run as Cena did last year it could be the springboard he needs to finally crack that Main Event scene.
I'm not overly surprised the New Day won but I wouldn't have been shocked to see the Club win either, don't think they merited taking the belts off New Day at the moment but you have to wonder were next for them.
Disappointing end to the Cesaro/Sheamus series but I sensed something was in the air all through that particular process1
