Breaking News
The following is a statement from Monster Energy's experienced Booking Committee:
Today we have been informed that our consistent and transparent random drug testing policy at 6CW, that all parties involved in the company have signed to accept as both valid and fair, has found one of our staff members to have breached the terms and conditions of their contract.
All 6CW stars sign to agree that they will not consume any stimulants, substances, steroids or anything other that are specified as prohibited in our agreement. As a company we adhere to similar rules and follow a pattern of drug testing similar to the IOC; and without casting any doubt onto their processes we would like to consider ourselves far less tolerant of the misuse of any substance that could enhance a performer's performance or cast doubt into the suitability of any wrestler as a role model.
With all of this underlined, it is with regret that we today announce A + B sample failings of one of our superstars. What both 6CW and our healthcare professional affiliates believe is a dangerous, addictive and prohibited amount of OxyContin and other opioid painkillers have been found in the samples of former World Champion Max Adamson.
Mr. Adamson has been informed of the results. After refusing our rehabilitation procedures, we have been left with no other alternative than to suspend Mr. Adamson from the ring for 90 days.
In the spirit of complete transparency, we shall also make it clear that Mr. Adamson has lodged an appeal against the claims and lawyers on both sides have opened dialogue.
6CW would like to take this opportunity to state that we will not endanger the health of our performers nor the legitimacy of our competition by allowing such transgressions to pass.
