I am going to reiterate that I think Glasgow have zero chance.
Weather for tomorrow is horrible, which is going to affect the type of rugby we play.
Our pack will be bullied again
Our bench is looking light

Have it as likely starting to rain around 6pm picking up towards 9pm typing Glasgow weather into Google. If the weather holds off a bit, it should favour Glasgow.

Tough game this one. I hope Munster win and I think they may just have a little too much for Glasgow. Munster are in some fine form so I will say Munster by 10.

Re: Champions Cup Pool 1: Glasgow Warriors v Munster, 14 January
Irish press are mixed on this.
Independent think that Glasgow will edge it. Times is confident of a Munster win.
Interestingly, the Independent was the paper which noted how different the Glasgow line up is tonight from the one which lost at home in the last match.
Favaro being out is quite a big blow for Glasgow. We have Wilson instead, who has all of Favaro's attitude but much less of his effectiveness.

Well if Edinburgh win it means Glasgow are doomed. We can't have both Scottish sides winning, that's the equivalent of travelling back in time and meeting yourself

Munster nowhere near as effective in the breakdown here. That will hurt them.

Glasgow doing a great job in silencing Connor Murray. I do not see it as illegal targeting of him but the last one was cynical.

Its a brilliant tactic to be fair. Take out Murray and you take out Munster's attacking threat. Tight game but Glasgow look good here.

6-6 at halftime is a little generous to Munster I feel. Glasgow have been the better team and shown far more initiative.

Munster will be pretty chuffed with that scoreline though. Hope to see them come out with fire in their bellies and put the pressure on.

Glasgow set out to bully Munster, and the best response to that is to meet the challenge.
Think Glasgow were the better side in that first half, but it's a close enough game. Munster will need to ramp it up a level, and they can.

Uncharacteristic from Stander, two quick penalties in a row for stupid things may see Glasgow lead.

Re: Champions Cup Pool 1: Glasgow Warriors v Munster, 14 January
A draw would be fine for Leicester if they pick up 2 wins. Glasgow would come to WR on 15 points while Tigers would be on 12 or 13. Even a 4-0 Glasgow win might not be fatal for Leicester, but obviously a Munster win would be better as it would take away the need for BPs and keeping Glasgow to 0.

That would have been a yellow card before the new laws, without a doubt. It was a swinging arm.

Pretty sure it was a yellow card in the old laws as well...
Great stuff from Munster but Glasgow missed the golden chance when they could have taken the DG, very poor game management from them.

Commiserations, Glasgow. Think if you had have went for the drop-goal you would have won. Fine margins in this game.
Well done, Munster.
The Hogg yellow card was correct, as was ruling out a penalty Try.

Re: Champions Cup Pool 1: Glasgow Warriors v Munster, 14 January
Think we saw today why Russell probably won't get picked for the Lions and why Hogg is not the certainty people would have you believe. Both have as much flair as anybody else in Europe but Russell's game management is very poor. The fact he has never scored a drop goal for Scotland or Glasgow was crucial. I do think, whilst Price played well, that this game would have better suited toward Henry Pyrgos.
Hogg barely made an impact for the try attempt and in the end he'd have been better letting him through as it turned out. The law itself is absurd, if a player dives to waist level face first then we cannot have a situation whereby the tackler risks a yellow card merely by being in the vicinity. I also can't see the difference between when Hogg put in the tackle attempt and when Murray bundled Nick Grigg out to touch around his shoulders toward the end.
I still think Glasgow will go through with a try bonus point and possibly with just a win.
Glasgow were very, very poor today.
