Anthony Kendrick hosts the first episode of the V2 Football Podcast in 2017! Wishing all of our listeners a Happy New Year - and to begin we discuss New Year's resolutions, both our own and hear Zlatan's resolution.
We discuss the Premier League managerial changes, with Paul Clement named Swansea boss and Marco Silva the new Hull boss. Over the festive period Sam Allardyce was named the Crystal Palace boss and we react to that.
The midweek Premier League games including Arsenal vs Bournemouth and Tottenham vs Chelsea are discussed. Will Chelsea's run being ended derail them? And how crucial could the point Arsenal gained be for them mentally?
There have been a few January transfers announced which are reviewed, we get Nick's view on Charlton winger Jonathan Lookman, and Hero's view on Genk midfielder Ndidi who has joined Leicester. We also discuss the rumoured transfers involving Manchester United pair Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay, along with Jose Fonte's transfer request and West Ham having bids rejected for Jermaine Defoe.
Note that this show was recorded on 05/01/16. Apologies for the technical issues which have caused a delay in the upload.
