Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
I tend not to do too well in the 6N but I came 257th out of 150,000 or something like that during the world cup - that was unexpected!

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
I did better in the World Cup one than I've ever done in the Six Nations.

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
The world cup one was much easier because you knew what the results were going to be for the most part so as long as you paid attention to team selections you'd be OK.
6N is so much harder to judge!

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
Well looks like the Fantasy League has splintered into 2 rival sanctions.
The ESPN League (This one) and the RBS Official one (https://www.606v2.com/t65092-6n-fantasy-league#3509173).
One seems very difficult to play (RBS) and the other (ESPN) is b!oody annoying with all the automatically playing Ads and ClickBait.
Don't think I'll bother with either this time...

Think I'll just stick to the ESPN one, easier to use.

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
Had a disaster on the first week being over confident about England's ability to score and leak tries whilst also backing the wrong Scotlanders.

Is it too late to enter my second team (the imaginatively-titled Team Two)? It was an auto-select job and it's doing loads better than the team I chose myself!

I'm late to the party but I'm in the ESPN one. Disappointed that I can't choose big Phil hence my team name...

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
I didnt notice untill checking my points but theyve comepletely overhauled the sytem for thisyear, adding in a lot more bonuses for things like making a lot of tackles and running a long way.
Tries from forwards is a real deal breaker though...at 8 points each theres a fair amount of luck in having picked the guys who do it. The ones who scored last weekend wouldnt be obvuious selections. That often leads to a MOM too.
Team let me down quite a lot all the same...over estimated Englands ability to score and leak tries, and picked the wrong Scotlander.
Completely boxed myself in on transfers for this week, its coming off the rails pretty fast.

2nd after week 1
Wanted to double check I had CJ Stander as he's run in two first half tries already, but ESPN site is broken, gets stuck in a reloading loop

Got my changes in early before I forget. Webb in for Laidlaw, Te'o for Henshaw, Slimani for Hartley.
Kinda gambling on Te'o getting a start, but pretty sure even if he's coming off the bench he's going to be scoring against Italy.

My powers of premonition paid off
Hat-trick in the bag! Not sure about him at 13....but if he runs the kind of lines he has off the bench with Ford and Farrell firing their passes into gaps for him it could be a rout.

Down to 3rd, could have been worse, at least everyone else had Farrell having a stinker!
Barring injuries think I'm going to stick with my current squad, maybe swap Te'o out if he's not starting.

I'm happy enough with third after three rounds. I'm usually out of the running by this point.

Re: ESPN 6N Fantasy League
Same here....but there's a common theme in the top half of the table....CJ Stander
Some other forward puts in a hattrick against italy it'll be all change!

There was an error in the scoring on the last round, Connor Murray had been double allocated points. Ther may have been others too which have been corrected.
