Aviva Premiership 606 dream team - Gloucester, Leicester or Saracens available
We're looking for a new manager to take the helm at Gloucester asap. We're into our 9th season of the AP dream team league, running in parallel with real Aviva premiership. It's great for those rugby fanatics who fancy themselves as knowing more than the rest of us on 606
All you need is a decent world rugby knowledge (International palyers etc) and a few hours spare each week to submit a side and maybe do some player trading with the other managers. It's quite a challenge building your side up and with a foreign window soon to be implemented, the perfect time to take over at Gloucester. Here's a link to the homepage, come say say hi and feel free to ask any questions.

Gloucester have a great squad but have been a bit mis-managed over the years. A few good signings and they'll be a top 4 side challenging for honours. Here's the Gloucester squad:

Just nudging this up the board, its a really good craic and putting a side in doesn't take long, the squad building aspect is definitely the part I enjoy

A rather delayed response, but as Carl Fearns is not in the squad, its not realistic so I'm not interested...

Impressive how one can butcher the Saracens squad.... takes some skill to do that.

A few seasons of mismanagement and also other guys in the league picking up the Saracens talent before it flourished is why the squad looks quite different beshocked.
It's an ongoing game, squads don't get reset after each season.

Fair enough Fluxy, when Denton is your starting no 8,Waller is the best LH and Tait is the best 15 you can muster you know you are in trouble!

The game is about 8 years old BS, the Sarries squad wasnt as much over the cap then so it wasnt great.
Smith is the starting LH, Hughes the starting 8 and Hogg the full back.
Check the midfield out. SBW, Van Resburg and Conrad Smith or Brad Barritt, Wyles and Bosch.
Also got a step up in quality at hooker in Guirado

As good as C.Smith was, he's 35 and struggling with injuries now. Money Bill Williams has been out for 17 months.
So in reality you'd have no centre partnership...
I admit my knowledge of South African rugby is not particularly impressive. Can't say I know much about your unknown South Africans.
Hogg at full back is indeed an improvement but it's pointless as you've lost all of Saracens best players.

Gloucester available AGAIN!
Currently off-season so chance to mould your squad and get a few foreign stars in. Give it a chance, sure you'll get into it.
71/2, Sam(Leicester fan) or Welly fancy it? You seem to know your world rugby.

Re: Aviva Premiership 606 dream team - Gloucester, Leicester or Saracens available
Afternoon, we are looking for a 12th manager ahead of the 10th season! This game has been running since the dark old days of the original 606.
Gloucester Rugby (although the name will change!) are available and have a decent squad, and could do with a good manager to guide them back up the league. Otherwise Leicester Tigers could be available if someone would prefer them.
Probably the best time to come and have a look and a chat about the game, as we are in off season and we can slowly introduce elements that need to be managed and how things run through a season.

Not long at all mate. Minimum:
Team and tactics in - 10/15mins
Predict on games - scores (5mins) descriptive (15mins)
Just give it a shot, I think you'll be a good manager LT, you know your stuff.

Sadly I do not have enough time to know about SR rugby and thus their players - but willing to take on a team.

Pop over to the home page and say hello LT

Doesn't take long at all when you get into the swing of it, and you know enough about international rugby I reckon, I only really follow internationals and managed to win the league this season!

Re: Aviva Premiership 606 dream team - Gloucester, Leicester or Saracens available
Afternoon gents, just to confirm there is definitely at least one team available at the moment.
As Bam mentioned, there is the possibility of a second, but I would like to give first option to an old stalwart (he will enjoy me saying that!) that stepped in, in the interim at the end of the season, to help us finish the season.
Go over to the page and please take a nose around, and I will comeback as soon as I can to confirm how many spots we have for the forthcoming season.

Morning gents,
I have an update for you. We do have two teams available for the forthcoming season. Northampton Saints and Gloucester (although the name will change).
Come and have a look on the homepage and also the two squad pages. And let me know which side you would each prefer
Any questions PM me

Potentially another spot available with one of the top sides in the league
Current squad includes Itoje, Retallick, Sexton, Stander and Fekitoa amongst plenty of other talents
Give me a shout if interested!
