The Minefield Draft sign up page

As it’s the summer months I thought it would be fun to have a friendly draft competition for both Ja606 & 606v2. Rules are as follows…

The Minefield Draft

1. Register your interest below
2. Each person taking part then privately sends myself a list of 5 players (via v2 or social media) that are considered ‘mines’.
3. A draw is done randomly to decide the order of the draft, it’ll work on an A-Z, Z-A basis.
4. Starting with Player A they then state their first draft pick, if no other person has that person as a mine then they get that draft pick, if the pick is a mine for another Player then they lose that pick and it moves onto the next Player.

For example…

Player F has chosen the following 5 mines: Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, Griezmann, Neymar.
Player A makes their first pick and chooses Messi, hits a mine and it moves on.
Player B makes their first pick and chooses Ronaldo, also hits a mine and also loses their turn.
Player C picks Bale, that’s not a mine so gets their pick
Player D picks Neymar, oops another mine, it moves on
Player E picks Aguero and gets him
Player F picks Messi, no-one else had him as a mine so they get him

5. The draft will take place between UK weekday hours of 9am to 9pm, during this time each Player has 4 hours to make their draft pick when it is their turn, if they fail to make a pick or have not forwarded their pick to someone to make it for them then it moves onto the next person and they lose their turn.
6. The draft continues until all Players have a Starting XI in whatever formation they wish.
7. All teams are then ranked by all Players in the league from top to bottom and a winner is decided!

I'm not banned, just don't like the site at all

I struggle to make my way around it, if you're on a few threads then get an update your page etc it quickly gets overlooked.

I think I get the jist of it, sign me up. Let the guys in the football section know about this if they're interested. The more the merrier.

If two people put someone as a mine, that means no one can get them presumably?

I hope that's the case. Want to see a different variety of teams this time.

Not really sure how the team building thing comes into it if people can pick Bale etc. Depending on budgets ofc.

Effectively it's a forum version of the squad builder challenge thing guys do on youtube.
I don't believe there is a budget or tactics by the looks of it.

Yeah Hero explained it to me on Whatsapp, i get it now, i thought it was to shuffle the teams around on our league on here.

Yes that's the case.

If anyone wishes to send me their 5 minefields they can do so!

No I'm not playing, I'm purely in a organizational role.

Nah even tho they're great players, I'm going for summat different this time.

Actually got 11 now. Though Harlequin posted his just on the Ja site, managed to spot it after 3 mins so hopefully no-one else saw them!
