Just to be clear I think Gloucester will still win. Note the last play stade will implode at some stage despite being the better team

Morgan has had to put in so much work. Been impressed with him.

The weather really hasn't helped Gloucester - there's been a lot of scrums!

And because of their issues they are trying too much with the ball.
Mind Bonneval was lucky not to be punished for the flurry of punches on Burns, then the pull back on Marshall.
As it is, Slade should pull well clear.

Care to expand or would you rather make things up about Gloucester. Like the alleged punch up you keep bleating on about

It has not been an intelligent performance from Gloucester - they started off with a clear gameplan but it has been heedless chicken stuff a lot of the time.
The Edinburgh weather hasn't helped at all - playing right into State's hands.

Not a classic final but Stade certainly deserved that!

Gutted. Stade fully deserved it and Parisse was a real gent at the end consoling our players. Nevertheless Lacey deserved the MoM, an utterly inept performance.

Very poor modding considering the ad hominem posts were not coming from my direction. However what can you expect from a scot (we are a separate nation except we are not). Try to be fair why don't you and delete all posts of a similar nature.

When has Lacey ever not been inept - I can't understand how he's still getting games at this level ...

Just came on to read about the game but these last few posts of someone having a breakdown have been far more entertaining. Lay off the drink next time...

On a more serious note why was McAllister TH cover - injury crises ?
Never played TH for Ulster and in all the games I have seen him play for Glaws he has always been a LH.
We never considered him as a TH

Re: EPCR Challenge Cup Final - Gloucester v Stade Francais
PDJ was injured and Mafu too fat, so McCallister was listed as a TH replacement; but when Afoa went off earlier, Hohneck moved across and Paddy played at LH.
Our scrum problems persist. Rapava-Ruskin will help on the LH side and Balmain and Denman will provide much needed support to the flogged Afoa. Nevertheless, it's more about the whole 8 and technique that needs improving and sadly I can't see Trevor Woodman staying much longer.

Denman is squad filler. Balmain hasn't really kicked on from his early potential and he's solid at the scrum not destructive. Can't see the reliance on Afoa reducing too much.

His decision, last season, to penalise Betham for being offside after picking up his own knock on still leaves me in stitches.
Min you the officials in this mornings Crusaders/Hurricanes game made Lacey look like a world beater.

Oh ffs it's too easy to blame Lacey when glaws couldn't manage a decent attack all game. Except for mays well taken intercept it was one way traffic all game. Even Nigel agrees with me
