Sir Warren Gatland
When the Lions win the series 2-1
... Gatland should be knighted.
And all you doubters can apologise for losing faith.

He couldn't turn this around with a rest of world 23.

Where's the "Hansen to be knighted after the 3-0 NZ win" option?
(In fairness, they're probably waiting until he retires)

Hansen to announce his retirement on the 8th July... just after Lions win the series
... 9th July, NZRU announce their new coach to replace Hansen.... Sir Warren Gatland...

Would it really be worth a knighthood getting the better of Gatland?
With Gatland's record vs tri nations, a series win was basically guaranteed before it began.

He's already won the RWC Beshocked. Seeing as Henry and Lochore got knighthoods for doing that I'd expect the letter to the Queen is already long since written and sitting in the NZ PM's top drawer

If he wins, I'll hold my hands up and say he (must have) got the key decisions right.
However his decisions have baffled me, and if he doesn't get the series win he's going to find it very hard to justify them.

True. Impressive record with NZ.
NZ winning a RWC isn't really a big deal now though. Too regular occurrence as impressive as it is.

He's the only NZ coach to win away from home mind.
That's a lot harder according to a lot of posters on here pre-2015

True it is harder. I am not too fussed if he is knighted. Lots of people seem to get the honour these days.

Does anyone actually care about Knighthoods? Im sure Gatland would prefer to win a series 100 times more than a meaningless title.

I'm sure Gatland cares a lot about his title, his jousting contests, and his estates/land.

I think knighthoods are ridiculous, but if there's one person I'd particularly not like to get one, it's Hansen. Wayne Smith on the other hand...

Of course what you have to remember is ....
Graham Henry .... Trained by Wales
Steve Hansen ..... Trained by Wales
Warren Gatland (next NZ coach) ..... Trained by Wales....
Will you Kiwis stop stealing our coaches and train your own.....
